Smokies v Pars 30/3/24 (stay safe everyone)

That was such a shitey goal to lose and gave them something to fight for. Don't think we've ever had a comfortable game this season.

Sorry, but this Arbroath team are horrendous. We’ve played quite well, but how have none of their players worked out they might want to pick up Todd? Their defending of set pieces is awful too. Getting basics all wrong and they look like a team that’s going to go down without a fight.

Starting to regret this… as bad as Arbroath were first half, we’ve been even worse in the second.

Oh fucking hell. What the f**k are we doing here?!

Said to my mates we should have had boys on the posts for the corner. Would have prevented the goal.

2nd half was shocking from us. Came out and acted like they thought it was over. The bench was also very quiet after the 2nd goal. They should be raging! Should still be raging that we had to hang on!!

Game of two halves really. Despite giving away 2 really poor goals, we remained resolute and Chris Kane epitomised that. Less said about the second half the better. 3 points and move on to the next one

Look forward to McPake's take.

F*ck it, we won. Arbroath, for how poor they are, were fighting for their lives and knew deep down today was a big opportunity for some crucial 3 points. You seen it in their player's body language when the full whistle went; they knew that was it done.

Outstanding in the first half, composed and looked threating in attack. Can't believe the performance in the second half, just thankful we can take the 3 points and move on.

Officials were utterly honking as well, numerous poor decisions throughout the game on both sides, finished with the laughable amount of added time at the end out of nowhere

Chris Kane and the keeper, that’s where the time came from
