Normally people need to at least wait until the 7th placed team ends up with more points than the 6th placed one to come out with that one.

Aye, but in fairness that's only thick folk that can't understand that there's no such thing as 7th place. Only 6th and 1st in the bottom 6.

Aye. Not clear to me why they don't just put the OF game right after the split and get it all announced.

Seems painfully simple. Am I missing something?

Hope Hearts get a third trip to Dens. Dundee's always a good day out.

And I'd welcome you with open arms. Best remember to bring your swimming goggles and inflatable armbands, mind you.

There's no such thing as 7th place !!! I like it. It can be our USP: "Scottish Football.....where there's no such thing as 7th place"  If only the SPFL could eradicate the Old Firm secterian songbook as easily.

it’s still pathetic that we want to avoid a winner-takes-all between our top 2, when almost every other league in the world would welcome it.

Pathetic and embarrassing .

There was a guy who posted on twitter the fixtures, with everyone playing 19 home and away and everyone in the top 6 having an equal number of games home and away v the old firm. If he can sort it out by yesterday not sure why the SPFL cant.

The SPFL accommodating bigots and their bigotry.

It’s not really accommodating either though, is it? Both sets of fans would want the opportunity to win the league against their rivals. It’s to try and avoid another shame game happening.

We will need to go away to someone for a third time regardless so there's every chance it could be Dundee if they confirm top 6 😅

Voice of reason. Are you 100% sure you're a fan of the King's eleven?

Probably because he's just sticking some stuff in a spreadsheet and doesn't actually have to consult with 12 clubs, broadcasters and the police.

So their accommodating bigots and their bigotry to avoid another "shame game"?

Thanks for your input. Blocked.

Accommodating implies they are doing it to meet the wishes or needs of Rangers or Celtic, though. They’re not.

If Dundee stay up you're going to Paisley

Home Fixtures without switches
Hearts:17+3(Dundee,Rangers,St Mirren) = 20
Kilmarnock:17+3(Celtic,Dundee,Hearts) = 20
Rangers:17+3(Dundee,Kilmarnock,St Mirren) = 20

St Mirren:16+2(Celtic,Kilmarnock) = 18
Celtic:16+2(Hearts,Rangers) = 18
Dundee:16+2(Celtic,St Mirren) = 18

  • Hearts will need to go to Dundee, Rangers or St Mirren a 3rd time but as Rangers and St Mirren are needing to switch one home game already it's going to be Dundee.
  • Rangers won't go to Kilmarnock a 3rd time and Dundee are hosting Hearts so that leaves St Mirren
  • And by process of elimination Kilmarnock visit Parkhead again

Home Fixtures After switches

Hearts:17+2(Rangers,St Mirren but not Dundee,) = 19
Kilmarnock:17+2(Dundee,Hearts but not Celtic) = 19
Rangers:17+2(Dundee,Kilmarnock but not St Mirren) = 19

St Mirren:16+2+1(Celtic,Kilmarnock, plus Rangers) = 19
Celtic:16+2+1(Hearts,Rangers plus Kilmarnock) = 19
Dundee:16+2+1(Celtic,St Mirren plus Hearts) = 19

Might need to call on VAR to resolve this.

Lovely for everyone trying to make plans that you have a further few days delay because Old Firm fans can't behave like normal human beings.

They have to bow to their masters at Sky Sports
