Talbot v Pollok today was one of the best games I've seen at this level since the 3-3 game at Newlandsfield.

Both sides were 100% up for it, the ref was a bit of a cock, and there were goals and defensive mishaps aplenty. Nothing like the end of season dirge I was expecting.

Looking forward to seeing the 3 penalty decisions in the highlights, and Mick's 1st which was class.

Yep was a real cracker for a game which meant nothing  and the pendulum kept swinging between the two right up to the penalty to give Auchinleck the lead at 4-3 which seemed to Lok fans to be a real error by Jordan Longmuir who needlessly brought the man down after having ushered him away from goal-will be interesting to see on video.

That 4th gave Auchinleck the impetus to drive on and the pressure told with next two goals after a fast pressing assault on our half which is always so effective.

Fantastic game of football up until it went 5-3. Swung back and forth and a had a couple of cracking goals(both for Talbot, sadly).

Expected we would kick on towards the end given Talbot's recent run of games but it wasn't to be.

A careerist with high hopes of getting to the top.

those ones are the worst at this level because they use it to be as performative as possible to impress their supervisors (see Dallas, Andrew).

Doesn't everyone hope they get to the top, as it means you've been doing well enough to get there?

Though not sure the first Pollok goal and penalty would have impressed his supervisor - awarding a goal when it hit the hand of a player who immediately scores (though on first viewing I missed it so really need the assistant to help for side on angle) and a penalty for the ball hitting an Auchinleck defender on his shoulder with his arm by his side.
