BFTD Posted Thursday at 20:14 Share Posted Thursday at 20:14 It's pretty humiliating how little our politicians are bought and sold for. Say what you like about the Tories, but you wouldn't catch professional scam-artists like Michelle Mone getting into bed for less than a million quid.
Freedom Farter Posted Thursday at 22:48 Share Posted Thursday at 22:48 I used to rant about this Tory MP in the geopolitics thread but she redeemed herself with her interventions on Gaza. Today she called out David Lammy for praising ethnic cleansing. It was actually worse than she describes in that tweet. Hundreds of Armenian civilians were also killed by Azerbaijan during the forced displacement. Lammy is rotten.

Wee-Bey Posted yesterday at 09:42 Share Posted yesterday at 09:42 I would simply have not made a large part of my pitch to voters be about ending cronyism, and then done loads of cronyism.

Alert Mongoose Posted yesterday at 10:19 Share Posted yesterday at 10:19 (edited) Can someone explain why any donation to any MP is not considered a bribe? What motivation is there other than self interest? Police use motivation as a tool to investigate most crime - why not this? ETA it's allowable under the rules if declared does not, in my opinion, satisfactorily answer the question. That's probably about it.
