Kennboy1978
We're working on some plans to increase tourism in the Buckfast Triangle. Eta: Come to Airdrie. You'll feel better about yourself! What do you think? It seems that every time I go to Airdrie I return even more depressed than when I went. More to do with the football than the town itself to be honest.

AsimButtHitsASix
I always found the sign as you head into North Ayrshire after Wemyss Bay a bit weird. It says "Gateway to Arran" Is the best you can do to sell your area of the country is "It's so good here the best thing we can say about it is it's the best place to get somewhere else" Also a wummin came into the hospital and she was stupid, ugly and really fucking smelly. Put me off my tea.
Sweet Pete
Coming through Bankieville yesterday from the very bottom of the town up through the town centre I saw a junkie offering an immigrant a square go, a family shouting at each other in the street, an alcy couple drinking cans of white cider in a lane and loads of feral kids. It's comforting in a way to know that though the town looks very different from decades past, it's still fucking grim.

NorthernJambo
I didn't learn to drive when I was 17 because I was into birds and pubs, not cars. Cars are dull. As is driving. I've always preferred commuting, walking and drinking. Not wanting to get involved in this beautiful spat, but the above made me think of a PTTGOMN. "You don't drive?!" Like I'm a idiot. Do I f**k! At 17 I could spend £40 on a two hour driving lesson or a few hours in the pub with sound c***s and birds. Lived in a big city for nearly a decade now, commuting is easy, live walking distance from work and still enjoy the pub. It would take some very drastic life changes which I don't forecast for me to learn to drive...

Always lived within walking or commuting distance of all the places I've worked, various leisure pursuits etc. Only doing it now as it helps the wife out with the kids.

I only use the car now when there isn't an easy public transport option.
Sweet Pete
My bird said to me recently "it'll be good when you pass for getting to away games". Aye hen, because I want to DRIVE to watch that shite sober.

Bobby Skidmarks
No thanks I don't want to live in a place populated by c***s, druggies and all round Jake balls I'm quite happy on Leith. You don't live in Leith though.

The only thing that concerns me is it gets me to the train station dry.
WeAreElgin
Cardboard cut out policemen in shops, normally seen at great front of shops like Poundland or B&Ms. There are a lot of these lying around Cheltenham train station. My favourite is in the ticket office, where it's obviously been stuck to a box as it looks about 10 foot tall

Bobby Skidmarks
I'm not - I don't understand why your saying I don't live in leith and what you are getting at. Why are you being so defensive? I merely corrected you when you said you lived in Leith.
