I was rather hoping it was a strain,but it has been painful for a while now.I know that some foods can be bad,and no doubt the large quantities of red wine will not help. When you have to beat the butter,sugar and flour to make a cake my fingers stiffend up so much that it looked like I had dislocated all the bones in my fingers. Suspect it is a touch of arthritis but it eases up once I start to move the joints and I'm not letting it worry me. It is bloody sore. My dad is 49 hand developed Arthritis about 2 years a go. If it is Arthritis its a case of the quicker you get it seen to the better.
