Petty Things That Get On Your Nerves...

Recommended Posts

Is a strange one i give ye that, not to many people taking one loaf of bread. Always running out at about 12

Called a cycle, people need a tesco.

No, they don't. Tesco need people more than people need Tesco.

Yet people still keep coming in all sorts, people will do anything to get to a tesco. For me this year has shown how desperate society is

That doesn't mean that people need Tesco though.

Like I said, Tesco need people more than people need Tesco. You'd have to be an idiot to think otherwise.

Incorrect. People won't do anything to get to a Tesco. People will do anything to get their shopping and will do their shopping on a basis of where is closest, cheapest and more convenient.

Do you think that if Morrison's had a person's wanted goods for cheaper, and there was a Morrison's within a five minutes drive, a person would drive twenty minutes to get to a Tesco?

I second this. It is only marginally better than Asda for causing a genuine existential crisis. I'd shop in Lidld and Aldi all fucking week before going to Tesco.

I thought anyone with a hint of class shopped at Sainsburys or Waitrose...

Went to Tesco this morning with the missus.

When we got to the checkout,we were told they had no normal carrier bags left but only small ones or others, for which we would be charged £0.59 each!

The small bags were big enough to hold a loaf and basically useless.

However, what pissed me off,was the fact that we spent £140 and these greedy fuckers couldn't give out a couple of £0.59 bags free.

Whilst I'm on the subjest, what is it with TK Maxx?

They charge you for using a carrier bag in an attempt to be seen to be eco-friendly,yet for one item purchased,my paper receipt was about a foot long!

Save the planet by charging for carrier bags, yet destroy half a fucking forest for one receipt!

That's why you should bring your own bags when shopping. :P
