Petty Things That Get On Your Nerves...

People get fat because society tells us you must eat leafy vegtables and lean meat to shed the fat.    That's what I love about the Quavers diet ( Sponsored by Quavers )  you can eat up to 18 packets of crisps everyday, no exercise and still the weight falls off you

Folk like that Joe Hicks c**t are actually making more people obese.

I've posted this before, but the Quavers diet is genuinely life changing. You can shed tonnes of weight while still enjoying  the usual18 (eighteen) meals a day.

Only drastic change in my life was HR making me wear disposable gloves during meal times due to complaints from colleagues. My fingers were bowfing, tbf.

The "disease" of obesity didn't exist in previous decades, nor does it exist in poorer nations. Ask yourself why (with apologies for the link to the Daily Heil).

Take portion sizes back to the 1950s to beat obesity

"Portion sizes have ballooned in the last few decades - with people filling their plates to the brim and cleaning them of every last morsel."

Smokers get sympathy? From whom?

I’m just saying a smoker getting ill because of their addiction will get more sympathy than a fat person was because of theirs. So many people look at the obese and say things like “you would have thought that after a certain point they’d sort themselves out a bit” where as smokers, drinkers and druggies are treated more as people with actual addiction problems that are harder to cure.

Good points there, Throbs....

I've always said that people are more sympathetic towards the blind than they are to the deaf. When did you last see anyone helping a deaf person to cross the road? Poor deaf people get shouted at most of the time.

I probably notice this more than most, being a bit "corned beef" myself.

Ah the inevitable dressing down from the Dental Hygienist about not flossing. As someone else posted ages ago
Dental Hygienist: Your teeth are terrible, the plaque build up is the worst I have ever seen, all your teeth will fall out, your gums will bleed and you will die.
Dentist: open wide, yep, yep, all good here.
Back for root canal work and a crown...hope he knows I'm a republican..

My dentist is an American sole practitioner who specialises in extraction.

Could be a height, rather than a weight problem, you have.

Ideally you should be about 7ft 6ins.

Losing weight didn't work, so after my holiday I'm going to try getting taller.

You have the greedy b*****d gene.

Very true. Got a takeaway tonight, she suggested sharing one. I refused and am now lying like a burst couch, moaning about feeling ill.

The Brexit diet might help.

It's good you've got someone to blame for all these demons lurking inside you.
