topcat(The most tip top)
One type of listing that used to boil my piss back when the Yellow Pages were a thing were tradesmen who would try to out-"A" each other so they could be first in the phone book. There was something intrinsically desperate about a say a chippy styling himself AAA Aaable Aaron that made me automatically go to another letter of the alphabet...just had a feeling they weren't getting much repeat business.Zinedine Zidane only went into football after his Zebra themed emergency locksmith venture failed

Maybe last nifgt's result upset you. Serious note, although this maybe isn't the right thread, are you lined up for your jag yet? (You'll probably have to wait as you have Covid.) (You'll probably have to wait as you have Covid.)Nah, despite appearances to the contrary,I haven't made sixty yet, so my latest estimate is the first week in April for the first, and the back end of June for the second.Apparently prisons are not considered frontline, so we've had a situation where over eighty five percent of jails were classed as outbreak sites, with many struggling to provides the very basics to the residents. I was one of over thirty five percent of staff Simultaneously absent at our place - those who kept the ship afloat are now ending up sick through exhaustion and stress. At least it's an equal opportunity virus - cons, governors, officers, admin - everybody cops for it.Last night? Pish, obviously, but hardly unexpected.

I would have thought you'd be in the clinically extremely vulnerable category, our daughter is 38 and has Downs and she got a letter saying she was CEV and she got her jag on Monday along with me, (I'm CEV, too), although we jumped the queue as there was vaccine left over, we hadn't actually got a date at that stage. I had estimated our "call up" for very late February/early March. We'll be getting our second dose in April. I'm surprised prisons aren't front line, I suppose the line has to be drawn somewhere, but I didn't think it would be prisons.

Some channels seem to specialise in mind numbing drivel. I'm always reminded of the scene where Alan Partridge is desperately pitching show ideas to the head of BBC1, or whoever it was. "Monkey tennis... Youth Hostelling with Chris Eubank..." We laughed then but looking at the schedules now they were relatively sensible.

Aidan
Finished Nightshift at 7 this morning, go to Falkirk Grahamston and they cancelled the train. Got told to head to Edinburgh, get there and the trains are cancelled. Get on a bus and it's broke down before it's even got to the Queensferry Crossing. Petty thing getting on my nerves today is the fact that I don't fucking drive.

Hedgecutter
I've got a fingerprint scan thing to unlock my phone, but when I turn the phone on it insists that I enter a code as an extra security measure. I'd have thought that unless I sliced off and lost my index finger in the street, the scan would be significantly more secure than a 4 digit code.

Unfortunately, none of your (numerous) issues are individually serious enough for special treatment, so just be careful." He was pretty apologetic, but I've at least managed to carry on working throughout, up until last month anyway, so the old MH hasn't suffered over much.Hope you and yours are doing ok - 'tis a long tunnel, and a dim light, but a light nonetheless.

I’ve only seen up to the bit where they randomly decide to bring in some new couples (Billy is an absolute wet-wipe), but Martha is the one. Big fan of Sam too, even with his chicken pox.

The wife of the brother of my sister's husband is a stay-at-home mum and by all accounts mediocre member of society. She's just started a facebook business called "X - Grazed" where X is actually the first initial of her forename. It sounds like a perfume brand but I actually consists of her piling a bunch of serrano ham, olives, crackers, cheese, grapes etc into an unbranded pizza box and delivering it to your house. Fair play to the girl I thought, she tries to make it look nice, and I just figured she had a peculiar interest and was making a business out of it. Until earlier today I saw my niece liking + sharing a post from another local company called Grazy Boxes or something, doing the same thing. Apparently this is a thing that exists and your wee maws from the nicer schemes spend their money on. A bunch of standard groceries delivered to your door, except with a huge mark-up, piled into a pizza box, several days older and having been taken out the packet. Stupidness Has she considered bidding for the latest round of lucrative school dinner contracts?
