jmothecat
'Lost the right to stage test cricket.' Bad news for Scottish cricket fans.
Savage Henry
'Lost the right to stage test cricket.' Bad news for Scottish cricket fans. But very good news for those in Southampton. Shame really, as 1. Bidding for test matches helped put them in the red, and 2. It's a lovely wee ground if the weather's nice.
die hard doonhamer
Shame it can't host tests, I've been and watched England there a few times. Doesn't make a huge difference in terms of convenience though, it doesn't take much longer to get down to Old Trafford from here.
TrueDiamond
the Saffers have just chased down the Aussies 371/6 to win by 4 wkts. Second highest run chase in ODIs. Astonishing. David Miller on one leg scored a ton adding over 100 for 7th wkt. The Aussies must hate trying to defend huge totals in SA. peasy23
Bangladesh 87-2 after 15 overs. Brilliant bit of fielding by Willey on the boundary for the second wicket, match is live on Sky Sports Mix.
peasy23
Ball makes a breakthrough with Bangladesh now 271-5 chasing England's 309-8, still 51 balls left.Edit: and he's now on a hat trick!
peasy23
And it's game on now with Rashid also getting a wicket, 3 wickets down in 11 balls and it's 274-7.
peasy23
From looking like a stroll for Bangladesh, England now have to be favourite with 30 needed from 36 balls, 8 down and two tail enders in.
dogmc
Such a tense finish when it looked like a gimme for Bangladesh
peasy23
Ball rounds it off getting his 5 for on debut, looks absolutely dead on his feet too.
dogmc
Cracking effort there especially ball n Rashid. Looked dead in the water there.
Bobby Skidmarks
Bangladesh absolutely Hibsed it. I guess England are still getting used to the humidity and heat but they obviously missed Hales, Root and Morgan. Great performance nonetheless from Ball and Rashid. Rashid especially impressed me.

Bearwithme
England win with just a wee bit in hand. Good knocks from Billings, Duckett and Stokes. Woakes finishes things off with a six. Decent game.
Bully Wee Villa
It's been a better contest than I expected so fair play to Bangladesh. Doesn't bode well for Scotland's chances of qualifying for the next World Cup though with only ten entrants.

I get that the last one went on for ten weeks or something daft, but it seems counterproductive.
