SimonLichtie
Have just seen on Monday Sky Sports will be broadcasting West Indies v Netherlands, a game which may have nothing on it and will have a crowd in the tens at it, while at the same time Scotland play Zimbabwe - a huge match for both teams which will have a crowd of thousands at it. It was actually moved ground due the size of crowd expected. Why the f**k are they broadcasting WI v Netherlands instead of Zimbabwe v Scotland? Am I missing something here?

Bully Wee Villa
Zimbabwe 210 all out against Scotland.Elsewhere Windies and Ireland looking good against Netherlands/UAE, respectively, and Hong Kong struggling against Nepal, which could open the door for Afghanistan to sneak through after all, despite just one win from their four games.

HK set Nepal a target of 154 Nepal require another 121 runs with 10 wickets and 43.1 overs remaining For Nepal to qualify on Net Run Rate they'd have had to chase down that total in 3 overs Which was always going to be a big ask Edited March 12, 2018 by topcat(The most tip top)
Bully Wee Villa
Scotland 55 for 3 off 10.4. Scoring at a decent rate but losing wickets. Need a good partnership.
SimonLichtie
IF Scotland can get the win here and Afghanistan go through, things are looking as good as they possibly could going into the final stages for Scotland. Would be looking at only Windies and Scotland on 4 points and the rest on 2 or 0, with Afghanistan and Zimbabwe likely to at least take a couple of points off one of the others and Scotland almost guaranteed a top 2 finish with 2 out of 3 wins, and potential to just sneak it with 1 win out of 3 if results went their way. Lose to Zimbabwe and chances are 3 wins out of 3 would be needed which would be an absolutely massive ask.

Nonetheless, two wins from three against West Indies, Ireland and UAE (who are ahead of us in the associate one day rankings) is still a very tough ask. Afghanistan getting through might be the key for us as you say, as they have underperformed so far and could well do some damage against the likes of Ireland and the Windies.
Bully Wee Villa
Was looking okay until about ten minutes ago. Scotland now need 52 off 11 overs but with just four wickets remaining.
Frankie S
170-7 now. Scotland, as usual, doing it the hard way. edit 173-8. We’re going to fall short I fear. Edited March 12, 2018 by Frankie S
