Sadly we binned it, were waiting to check the weather with a decision yesterday. Strong winds and heavy rain was enough for 2 out the 4 (importantly including the driver) to say no way sadly. After a few years away we've had 2 trips up to Broughty Ferrry since lockdown eased already so I'm sure it won't be long until we will be back. Hence no reason for sobriety on Friday

peasy23
Exciting heading into the last couple of holes at Pebble Beach Never a dull moment when Speith is involved. Great win for Hoge.
Wee-Bey
**Fantasy Golf League Week 5** On the edge of glory Jordan Speith continued his one man campaign to have golf reclassified as an extreme sport at Pebble Beach. He only managed to finish 2nd to half man half sandwich Tom Hoge though. Nicolai Hojgaard won the family bragging rights in the UAE with a peerless driving performance, meanwhile a sensational eagle putt on the 72nd hole from Harry Varner III landed him the Bonesaw Invitational in Saudi Arabia. Standings Despite 3 events this week, it was pretty low scoring with the leader boards populated by the diddies. Good week Only 1 team had Nicolai instead of Rasmus (they have both actually) and that is, well... me. (honest). 140 points for this guy. Bad week @kilMARKnock @jagfox OG and @The Moonster with a solitary Top 20 giving them a paltry 10 points this week. Unlucky boys. The Montgomerie @Slacker 780 @IrishBhoy 570 @Central Belt Caley 450 @Distant Doonhamer 420 @funky_nomad 420 @die hard doonhamer 410 The Torrance @lichtie23 430 @Leeds Saint 400 @kilMARKnock 370 @Lester Freamon 350 @peasy23 340 @alta-pete 280 The Lyle @Day of the Lords 820 @Tartan Dave 660 @The Moonster 440 @Caledonian1 410 @true_rover 320 @MP_MFC 310 The Lawrie @jagfox OG 590 @J_Stewart 480 @St. Jude 390 @Ro Sham Bo 380 @doulikefish 370 @Honest_Man#1 360 After last week's Ras Al Khaimah Championship at Al Hamra, we have the Ras Al Khaimah Classic at Al Hamra. With pretty much the same field too. Yay. The PGA returns to normality this week though with a strong field at the Tom Weiskopf designed TPC Scottsdale for the Waste Management Phoenix Open. A firm favourite with players and fans alike in it's traditional slot as the warm up for Superbowl Sunday and featuring one of the most exciting closing stretches on tour with the par 5 15th played to an island green complex, the short 16th and it's packed stadiums slurring drunken abuse before the drivable par 4 17th and a tough par 4 to finish. Get the cans in and get ready to scream mashed potato at your other half. Edited February 7, 2022 by Lester Freamon
