Some Kirky members saying it took them 4hrs 40min for our Open yesterday, and a three-ball of younger guys caused the majority of the problem by falling TWO holes behind the game in front. Clearly, that impacted all us poor souls who followed in their wake. Bet you a pound the fcukers called it a ‘track’ too.

I looked at Stirling (I work there) but everyone says it’s incredibly slow to get round.  Bizarrely never played Carmuirs despite growing up here!  Tryst would be easiest as I know a few members, including my dad, but I find it can be in poor condition sometimes (location means it gets a lot of through traffic, particularly schoolkids) and it’s difficult to get a time on.

haven’t played Tulliallan in about 20 years!

You should seriously think about Tulliallan, tbh. You won't recognise it from 20 years ago - the trees will have grown a great deal since then, making it a much tougher test, and the new (since you last played) water/green set-up at the 16th is a real test. The greens are in great nick most of the year, and main greens are generally in play throughout the winter.

Give me a shout if you fancy a game there.
