tigerton
All three legs going against the throw. keeping in it well O'Shea. If O'Shea wind, then Osborne will likely play Taylor in the 2nd round. That could be just lovely.

That could be just lovely. Aye, I bet it will be! O'Shea held his throw to go 3-2 up and could be taking control of the 6th leg too. EDIT: Back to back 180s in the 6th leg, this is becoming a great wee match. O'Shea 4-2 up and throwing for the match. The Naitch
O'Shea wins it 5-2 in one of the better matches of the tournament so far.

DomDom
How did O'Shea play ? Was he better than his good, but slightly drifty opening match ?
The Naitch
How did O'Shea play ? Was he better than his good, but slightly drifty opening match ? He was solid all the way through - both players were, in fact - but O'Shea took out the doubles when it mattered. Finished with a tidy 99 average too.
The Naitch
Matt Smith needs to work out where the ITV Wildcard Qualifiers took place. Last night it was Falkirk, tonight it's Kilmarnock. He's getting closer, I suppose.

The Naitch
Maish kept close to King throughout that 1st leg and it paid off. First blood to Maish.
The Naitch
Superb 161 checkout from Maish to go 2-1 up. All three legs have gone against the throw.

The Naitch
Must admit, i didn't see this coming, fair play Maish. As Mason pointed out, he's never been the most comfortable performer on the telly but he has done really well so far with his demolition of Fitton and his showing so far tonight.
The Naitch
King pulls it back to 2-3, this'll be a real test of Maish's resolve.
The Naitch
King starts to push things up a gear or two now ... it's all square at 3-3 and is well in control of the 7th leg.

The Naitch
King really starting to wobble on the doubles - if only Maish had kept closer order in this leg. Merv 4-3 up now...
