The Naitch
King wins it in the end, though. Order of play for tomorrow night... Co Stompe vs Kevin McDine Andy Hamilton vs Gary Mawson Adrian Lewis vs Denis Ovens Ted Hankey vs Wayne Mardle Gary Anderson vs Steve Beaton James Wade vs Robert Thornton Darin Young vs Terry Jenkins Simon Whitlock vs Scott Waites Couple of stand out matches from that bunch ... I'm working 'til 8.30pm tomorrow so I'll miss the first half of the night's games. Edited November 15, 2009 by The Naitch
northernscum
That was a damned good game of darts.
DomDom
Ted Hankey vs Wayne Mardle Gary Anderson vs Steve Beaton James Wade vs Robert Thornton Darin Young vs Terry Jenkins Those matches stand out, but really, it's a cracking night of action. Hankey/Mardle is the one I'm interested in for what should be hilarious crowd reactions.

You might just be home in time to see Ted Hankey getting arrested for attacking Mardle after his walk on!
The Naitch
You might just be home in time to see Ted Hankey getting arrested for attacking Mardle after his walk on! I've got the tournament on Series Link through my Sky+, so I'll be able to watch it in all it's glory!
Neilly
I can definitely see Hankey walking out during the match if he even turns up at all. Anderson/Beaton should be a belter as well.
DomDom
It would be great if Ted Hankey walked out of the match. Would be even better if he lamped Mardle before he did so. ITV might consider doing this with a 5 minute time delay so as they don't have any blood on before the watershed.
DomDom
Kevin McDine beats Co Stompe 5-4. Stompe was averaging 107+ at one point and was still behind. Cracking darts from both men though and a good way to open the night.
tigerton
Cracking Darts there from Stompe up until the last leg sees him get beat when averaging 104!!!
DomDom
Andy Hamilton 5-2 Gary Mawson Andy Hamilton is capable of much better than that, so he'll be delighted that he got the win knowing that he won't throw darts as bad as that often.
DomDom
Denis Ovens 5-3 Adrian Lewis Lewis is as good as out at this point. Ovens really played well after the break, but the stuff before the break was suicide inducing.

Lewis will need Big Darrin Young to beat Jenkins (badly) then beat Ovens (badly) whilst Lewis beats Jenkins (badly). So, yeh, hes out, and deservedly, he was pants in both games. Time for Hankey

Marshmallo
Great stuff from Denis Ovens, something very likeable about the guy. -
Neilly
Must be his glowing personality or killer smile that does it for you. Hankey is playing OK here in patches but his doubles are shit. Is it just me or is he slinging the dart more now than he was in the first leg? Seems to be playing quicker this way although maybe I'm imagining things. Still not good enough for a World Champion. Taylor, Wade, Jenkins, Anderson and Barney would probably whitewash Mardle the way he is playing just now. DomDom
Ted Hankey 5-4 Wayne Mardle Some of the scoring from Hankey was exceptional, but he was handing Mardle chance after chance after chance. The standard wasn't here, but it was oddly involving stuff here. Good match.

Neilly
Hankey is clearly still raging at the crowd bring on the interview!
