Very reasonable summary by Davies there TBF.

I'm probably (definitely) biased but I hate that "one team took their chances the other didn't" analysis. We were miles ahead of them second half, they had nothing in attack and we were going through them at will second half.

Finn is genuinely the best player we've had in generations - if it ever come to a Finn vs Townie face-off then there really is only one winner.

He truly is world class.

Came to post similar. Sometimes you watch what he does and think how lucky you are to have witnessed a Scot doing it. A bit like watching Andy Murray play tennis.

To add to this, how fucking lucky are we to have had Finn Russell and Stuart Hogg (arguably the best 15 in the world at one point) playing for us at the same time? Also for us Glasgow fans, in the same team.

Definitely. Difference nowadays though is that the game takes a completely different course if Finn goes off after 14 minutes, hardly noticed Hogg was missing given how well Kinghorn played when he came on. Kinghorn did more than enough to keep his spot for the next game imo.

While I agree Finn is genuinely world class, Townsend was also, as best evidenced IMO by his role in the Lions' series win against the Springboks in the late 1990s.
