Marten
Newburgh 0-3 TayportLovely ground, decent game. Newburgh were down to 10 after about 30 minutes due to a bad challenge. After that Tayport were clearly the better side. Impressive that Newburgh did a program for this game.
Craig fae the Vale
Deja vu tonight as Argyle Wanderers took on Westcliff at the Argyle Park for the second time in a few weeks. Much different Westcliff side tonight and they ran out comfortable 8-1 winners.
Marten
Kirkcaldy and Dysart 5-5 Burntisland ShipyardBoth teams were good up front. Defensively it was not so good (quite an understatement), but that made it thoroughly entertaining for a neutral like me.

Craig fae the Vale
Holm Park this afternoon for Clydebank 11-1 St Peter's. A harsh lesson for the WoSL new boys, but they never gave up, even when ten goals down and did manage to hit the woodwork 3 times.
Marten
Tonight I watched a game at The Stanks in Berwick. Loughoughton Rangers 3-8 The Angel, after it was 2-0 halfway through the first half.Amazing place to watch football.
Craig fae the Vale
Argyle Wanderers 1-4 West End Workouts this afternoon. Puntastically, the gym team were too strong for the hosts. Got a couple of friends up from down south for a few days and one of them wants to see some football while he's here. So a Sunday league game today and we'll pick a Forth and Endrick League game tomorrow night! Craig fae the Vale
Forth and Endrick League action tonight as Drymen United beat Gartocharn 1-0. Plenty of needle in the game and Drymen played the last few minutes with 10 as they had a man sent off for dissent.

I was at this, Tayport would probably have scored more if their number 9 hadn’t gone off injured.

True, he was definitely their best player this game.
Craig fae the Vale
Gartocharn 1-3 Killearn in the Forth and Endrick League tonight. 4 goals, 2 red cards and one of the worst refereeing displays I've ever seen. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.
Marten
Well... it was bound to happen one day. I was planning to go to a Forth & Endrick league match yesterday only to arrive and find out the game was called off due to covid cases. Thankfully another Dutch & a Northern Irish groundhopper (both living in Scotland) were there as well so we went to a rural pub and had a good time anyway.
GordonS
I see there's a bit more interest in the Forth & Endrick league this year - is that at least partly because Scottish Football Fixtures is now listing their games? Or post-lockdown motivation?

Or post-lockdown motivation?Probably a bit of both really. For me these games being listed makes it easier to know games to go to, same now they list more amateur games. Plenty of people, myself included, just want to watch live football again.
Marten
For today plenty of games were off, mainly for Covid reasons. That included Lochee United v Dunipace, which was my original plan. Plans changed a few times since but I ended up at New Victoria Park for Newtongrange Star 0-2 Darvel. The guests took a lead early on, which I managed to capture on a photo. The hosts had some chances to draw level until Darvel scored their second, but I think this was a fair result.
