Stewart is the original (and proper) spelling of the name. The putrid 'Stuart' spelling is merely a b*****dized version of the proper name brought about because of the vile Mary Queen of Scots' love for everything French. For instance, we are advised that Barrow, Bingham, Watson and Penman have good chapters on a relevent subject, but there's a wealth of books available from many other authors should we wish to read their views.
