None of the teams from 7th to 10th are in good form, Aberdeen & Livi (4pts from the last 5 league games) us and Hibs both got 3. It really is a case of who can escape from recent mediocre form and if the Fakes can shrug off the defeat against Celtic and recover the momentum they had in the games prior to that. The first two post-split games after the split are vital for us, we could be looking out the beachware and suntan lotion or we could be in 11th spot - I have the fear and I reckon most Saints fans will be feeling similar.

I have the fear of going into the last game 2 points ahead of the Fakes but with an inferior GD.

Minister when a report into an earlier fatal tower block fire was published in 2013. Mr. Pickles got the number of fatalities at Grenfel wrong (he quoted 96 the number who died at Hilsborough) said quicker implementations of the enquiry regulations “would not have made any difference whatsoever” and reminded the enquiry that he was an extremely busy man “By all means sir, feel free to ask me as many questions as you like, but could I respectfully remind you that you did promise that we would be away this morning and I have changed my schedules to fit this in.” Now he is no longer on the "greasy pole" he obviously wants to ignore any consequences of his previous (lack of) actions and bluster his way out of the enquiry ASAP, I'm sure the vast majority of the other witnesses (the little people) called to attend also have other things they could be doing.

Hopefully we're a bit more aware of the possibility of finishing 11th than Hibs were that season, just checked (and my memory did serve me correctly) & I reckon Hibs/Butcher probably never considered the possibilty of finishing 11th until game 37. Which is the important part - we're not better than the teams around now above us in terms of skill but if we no longer have the 110% attitude we had under JG then we're in trouble. Our best hope is that Dundee are still rotten and 3 of the other teams will have nothing to play for post-split.

I play it in hard mode which doesn't allow mistakes but that's more to stop me being a numpty and accidentally forgetting to use correct letters. I hadn't thought of the advantages of deliberately just going for a word to narrow down the choices. IIRC the Wordle was cater and thinking about it IMO there are 10 options you could have for the first letter if you include the esoteric ones like gater (it's Murican) & tater it's (Hobbituese) so yeah I'm sticking with easy!
