Had a bottle of this tonight, Hinterland, by Brew Dog. Very powerful oatmeal stout, with a definite chocolate flavour. 9%abv

Could you be more precise? Is it about The Rangers or Rangers? I thought it was about both.

Was on a bit of a bender last night. Had a real shitty week at work and headed straight to the pub yesterday evening. Had some terrific craft ales in the Lass O' Gowrie and then headed off to Footage where the guest ales were all Brew Dog. To give you some idea of my condition I was in, I asked for a pint of a brew that was chalked up on the board. "I'll have a pint of On Next Velocity" "It's not on yet and it's called Velocity" However, amongst others, I did have a can of 13 Guns, Thwaites are pushing this, .it's an American IPA and currently only available in cans. Really nice, if you see it, try it. Apologies for the quality of the picture, as I said alcohol had been taken.

Tried this tonight. Dead Crow Rum Beer. Decent enough I suppose if that's what you are after. It was too sweet for me and tasted like a cheap rum and lemonade. Not enough beer for my taste.

Slightly aff topic, I watched Burnistoun for the first time last week. To paraphrase Frankie Howerd "not a titter" did it raise. It was utter shite. Back on topic, doing a Caledonian theme tonight with Deuchars, Edinburgh Castle, and Flying Scotsman on the menu.

Tonight's boozefest for the golf. I haven't tried Ceilidh but agree with your comment on Birds and Bees, although I prefer Fraoch and Seven Giraffes.Haven't really been disappointed with any Williams Bros beers, and blown away by Perfect Storm.

When I typed boozefest in the above post my tablet auto corrected it to bigotfest.
