  1. The thing about us Auld C***s is that we have seen the greats of bygone eras and the greats of today, so we feel comfortable in making a valid comparison. It's much more reliable than basing a value judgement on a YouTube clip.
  2. Found this in Quality Save today. Really nice.
  3. 2 pods of Grande Intenso and a little milk.
  4. Have to say I am not a fan of Oakham Ales. There seems to be an over reliance on the Citra hop which is extremely bitter, indeed their Citra I found particularly undrinkable. I gave them a second chance and tried their Scarlet Macaw and, although not quite as bad as Citra, it was unpleasant enough to keep me away from that particular brewery.
  5. Had a few pints of East Coast IPA in the New Century in Motherwell last week, thoroughly enjoyed it and at £2.60 was quite reasonable. Wife saw this beer when shopping a while back and bought it because of the name it's by Barnsley Beer Company and was a vile tasting brown ale.
  6. Got a few in for tonight, just had a bottle of Holt's Two Hoots, an excellent golden ale and followed that with Jennings Sneck Lifter a strong dark ale, almost porter like in flavour.
  7. You didn't work in advertising, you worked in a call centre selling adverts in publications. You also worked off a prepared script. There's no end to your lack of talent is there?
  8. Shpeel as the Urban Dictionary has it is; Oft-repeated thoughtless dialogue which is not necessarily true. Kind of sums up your whole posting history.
  9. Of course you cant, you can have no idea what it's like to support any other club. Therefore you would have no idea what levels of enjoyment they can or will attain. In the past 35 years I have seen my team in 3 Cup Finals, winning one, I've seen us finish best of the rest on 3 occasions, and I've also seen them play in every European tournament up to and including Champions League Qualifiers. I've seen us struggle to stay in the Premiership, and I've seen us in administration. It's been a regular rollercoaster of a journey and I wouldn't swop it for anything. Is that better than anyone else's journey with their team, of course it isn't, there is no comparison. To suggest differently is beyond moronic, but par for the course with you.
  10. No it isn't, at least not until you look at it properly and see it as it is rather than what you want it to be.
  11. Celtic fans. They believe the refs have it in for Celtic, therefore, must favour Rangers. It's a completely moronic conclusion but to them totally logical. Billy McNeil claimed it had been going on for 60 years, harking back to Celtic's darkest days in the 1950's. It seemed to escape Billy that during his time as a player with Celtic won 9 in a row and reached 17 of the 18 cup finals during those 9 years. That is total domination. What were the referees doing then?
  12. Hobgoblin is probably my favourite beer so this King Goblin is definitely on the list as well. Also enjoyed this Rev James from Brains, the Welsh brewer.
  13. Having another of the Badgers beers, Blandford Flyer excellent stuff, but also had a bottle of Jennings Sneck Lifter. Areal quality bitter as are most of the beers from this brewer.
  14. Got a few beers in for tonight and this one is really nice, quite malty with a slight fruity flavour, and a smell of the sea when you open the bottle, according to my wife anyway. 4.0abv
  15. Not obsessed, just bored. Where have I ever claimed to be a better poster than you, or anyone else? Most of my recent posts have actually been denigrating my own posting, as well as yours Just a wee heads up, if you want to dispute whether you are illiterate or not it would help if you could spell illiterate. Now f**k off there's a good wee moron.
  16. Fair point, but I don't see it like that. I don't think anything I have posted has had any bearing on what this thread is actually all about. In that respect I don't consider my posts as contributions to the main thrust of the thread.
  17. "Much little"? At first I would have thought it was a typo and given you the benefit of the doubt, but, as you have used it twice in the space of a couple of sentences that rules out a typo. So, illiterate twat it is.
