  1. Incredibly, Ireland are favoured to beat us with the bookies. You can get 2/1 on a Scotland win at the moment. Can't see that price lasting.
  2. Discounting the covid games I think this could be the lowest home crowd of the Clarke era so far. Never seen the area round the stadium so quiet. Could've walked into The Clockwork or The Beechwood an hour before kick off. Public transport situation is a shocker. I appreciate we need to use the squad but it feels like he's picking the defence out the tombola every time Tierney is unavailable. Not sure it needs a back five tonight but if that's the set shape maybe it's a good idea to give players game time in it. Would fancy we'll win well if we score early. Quite like the creativity in midfield. £2 free bet on Armstrong to score two or more at 20/1 HWFG
  3. Nothing of the sort will happen. The League One and Two clubs will vote that down and will also vote down any increased relegation/promotion between tiers 4 and 5. The Lowland League have just bought magic beans again so that Doncaster/Maxwell can keep three of their biggest clubs happy for another year.
  4. I joined FSS more than 2 months ago and haven't had a single email from them as yet. I've had it confirmed that I'm a member (had to contact them myself as they don't send any confirmation of membership) and told I'm on the distribution list for comms so can only assume they've sent nothing at all in that time. For contrast, I bought a ticket for a Bonnyrigg Rose playoff game a few weeks ago and they now send me a weekly newsletter.
  5. Nice unbiased account of the meeting there I'm sure
  6. We used two SPFL players against Ukraine - the keeper and the Celtic captain.
  7. If you still have some sort of tie-in with Hibs then you could do a lot worse than trying to get Joao Balde on loan. Really exciting winger who won POTY at Civil Service Strollers last year. He got a move to Hibs in January and was loaned back for the rest of the year. Only saw Strollers a couple of times last season but he was the best player on the park both times, including in an early season win over Bonnyrigg.
  8. You'd think this should be the easiest of the 3 NL games on paper so I'd be tempted to start with either Stewart or Brown and save Adams for the two away games if possible. Stewart with Christie or Brown off him would make sense to me and means we'd be bringing Adams on instead of taking him off at 60 minutes if we're chasing a goal. We really need to take 12 points from Ireland and Armenia. When you see teams like Turkey in the tier below ours it makes you appreciate how generous this group draw is for Scotland.
  9. I've not even had an email from the club despite being a half season ticket holder last year.
  10. I was on the fence but if Clarke has lost the faith of "around 50 guys offshore" then he has to walk.
  11. Saying you "like" a player with no prior reference to them anywhere from anyone else is the new leak of the last 6 months btw
  12. The wee attacking midfielder for Dynamo Kiev was top class as well. Hickey was poor but having to face that winger one on one with little support from a wide midfielder didn't help him.
  13. Pollok 3-3 Talbot was one of the best games I've ever been to.
  14. Two former LL sides in League One next season.
  15. Yup looks like multiple first team players away on a stag do
  16. Is anyone able to confirm if they've come to a "fucking stop"?
  17. You've surely no posted a screenshot showing you're a club formed in 2002 after the real Airdrie died
  18. It's not within their rules to have 18 permanent members and they voted against increased promotion/relegation. It doesn't make a lick of sense to me and requires multiple backflips in logic but that's the party line. My guess is the "Colts" will increase their bribes entry fees and will all be allowed to participate as guest clubs.
  19. Hibs, Morton and Clyde eh videoplayback (2).mp4
  20. Finished 7-0. Just a few weeks after Drumchapel beat Nithsdale Wanderers 13-1 in a cup final. There needs to be an all encompassing discussion about where the SoS sits within the pyramid. There is absolutely a place for local football in that area but it clearly isn't at tier 6 alongside the EoS and WoS, particularly given geographical overlap with the latter.
