Selfishly the Ireland and Armenia double header being unaffected in June is great news. Quick turnaround for players in the Championship playoff final and Champions League final.

I wish no harm to him but it's definitely the right thing for the club. I was relatively happy with his appointment at the time but it's been a disaster. Six month deal was a good move by the board and they should be commended for that. I get the arguments for wanting a (relatively) safe pair of hands like Johnston but I'd like to see us taking a bit of a longer term approach. People won't agree because "am sick ae rookies!" but I'd like to see us go after Scott Brown or Marvin Bartley. Give them a couple of years to try and put a plan in place. Both have been really good professionals and I think players would want to play for them. We can win the last three games 12-0 - Kenny Miller should not even be in consideration on a longer term basis.

Has this definitely been confirmed? I listened to the LL catch up with the LL chairman and he'd said guest clubs would be removed from the final table, but didn't elaborate on what that meant.

You won't go to games because the PA system tells you not to invade the pitch or shout racist abuse?

I'm 100% with on Scott Brown. Players would want to play for him and he would strike a good balance between standards being high but creating an enjoyable environment. Fully expect him to get a better offer than our rabble but he's the first person I'd be speaking to.

I never want to see Griffiths in a Falkirk top again.

First time I've seen people getting patted down on entry for a long time as well.

I know we've no chance but they won't bin Rennie while we've still mathematically got a chance of making the playoffs, however small.

My reading of it was it's a "six figure sum" to do all the stuff that was allegedly promised (eg training camps abroad and what have you).

What a player. The best players we've had over the years have always played with their shoulders back and a bit of a swagger. Farid was very much in that mould. He'd have done well down South if he hadn't blown his knee out. I also have a great song for him to the tune of the "I Want It That Way" by the Backstreet Boys that never got to see the light of day.

I think it's very unfair to pan the new Board for a lot of the points you raise. 1. People change jobs regularly across all sort of industries. I've no idea how good a job or otherwise McGivern was doing. Role is being advertised to find a replacement. 2. Official reason given means this was hardly the board's fault. 3. Hasn't worked out at all but a) can't speak for anyone else but I was relatively happy with Rennie being hired (I'd have taken him over Rice for example) and b) he was only given a short term deal. 4. Pre-dates the current board and looks to have been down to a bad actor. 5. This is essentially the same as point 3. Definitely hasn't worked out. To me the frustrations I'd have would be Rennie being kept on when it's so blatantly obvious he's not the man for the job, or if we get continued spin put out around the team/club/diddy of a manager. My one thing I can't stand more than anything else is being treated like an idiot. Telling me that what I'm seeing very clearly in front of my own eyes is not actually the case because of X, Y, Z drivel reasons or deflecting blame is infuriating and assumes you can trick us into eating a lot of nonsense. Mistakes will happen - learn from them and move forward. Consistently bleating about how hard a task it is and saying it's all someone else's fault doesn't help us improve. I don't doubt for a second how shite a state the club is in off the park but at some point we need to stop hearing about it. Comes across as pretty "woe is me" to be honest. I don't doubt the board are as sick and tired of us being shite as every other fan. We want a plan on how that's going to change.

Dixon is right in everything he's saying there TBF apart from sounding like he wished Sheerin hadn't been emptied. Pretty unprofessional to be coming out with that sort of stuff while still under contract. More than 50k a year on Paul Watson is stunning to me. Good on him for taking the money but we shouldn't be handing out deals like that unless Will Vaulks fancies more nights out in Sportsters every week. It's not just the injury but he'll obviously miss pre-season and even if he makes the timeframe to return he'll need to be brough back up to speed. One of the few members of the squad I'd have kept on so it's particularly frustrating.

None of them are anything like the others.

Anyone got an email address for them? I've got some magic beans that I need to sell.

Caused by the pitch...the old board never changed the pitch...
-
It'll get paired up with this made up injury to justify the signing. "He was carrying a knock" etc etc Every player Rennie signed injured = we'd have been class if they'd all stayed fit. You can spot it a mile off.
-
No offence pal but this is genuinely mental.

It must be a strange feeling for all the Raith fans who walked away from their club when they signed Goodwillie. I suppose the fact it's the Challenge Cup would cushion the blow somewhat and prevent you from being too concerned, let alone going to the game, but it must still be a very bittersweet experience.

Why has Dowds been scoring goals in this team? Why's Kabia outscored Griffiths?

Your club being less likely to win the league is "funny as fuck"?
