  1. Warner will be thinking "at least it wasn't fucking Broad again".
  2. You've got to be a little suspicious when the rider himself can't comprehend the numbers he is putting up.
  3. Do you get a refund if Koepka kills Cantlay on the front 9 because he is so fucking slow?
  4. Scotland in July, what could possibly go wrong with the weather?
  5. Barring a crash you would think so, that was an absurd ride by Vingegaard
  6. Played this morning, good front 9, struggled through the back 9 before finishing with two pars. Was on the par 5 eighth green in regulation. Walked off with a 7.
  7. I'd say it's very similar figures that I've seen from a guy on Twitter called Lou Stagner who uses literally millions of shots from Arccos golf to collate the data. I'm 52 and my good drives are certainly in the region of that table. The one thing I would say you would need to look at is a further breakdown within those age groups relating to handicap, as whatever age someone is a low handicapper will likely be averaging a good bit further than a high handicapper.
  8. Quite enjoying Michael Kim on Twitter recently with his wee previews in to course set up etc.
  9. My brother in law got one a month or so back, he takes medication that affects his immune system so was given a Covid booster along with an industrial strength flu jag.
  10. He does get a special temporary membership though. He got more points yesterday for second than he did when he won the Italian open last year.
  11. Sweden's Vincent Norrman made an ever bigger jump as he took full advantage of the weak field at the Barbasol to win after a playoff. He pocketed a handy €600k and jumped from 286 to 164. https://www.skysports.com/golf/news/12176/12921948/pga-tour-englands-nathan-kimsey-beaten-by-vincent-norrman-in-play-off-at-barbasol-championship
  12. First time since 2002 that it has been a name other than Federer, Djokovic, Nadal or Murray that was added to the Wimbledon honours board. It certainly feels a bit like Federer's first win in that Alcaraz looks like he could dominate for a few years. It was some cojones in the last game to balls up a drop shot, but then do it again in the very next point and follow it up with a perfect forehand lob.
  13. Where's all our money and hopes being invested this week? I've gone for Fowler, Hatton, Fleetwood and Bob Mac.
  14. 2 slams at 20, has the beating of Novak and is miles ahead of the rest of the young guns. How many slams can he win if he stays fit?
  15. Immediate break of serve for Alcaraz, game on now.
  16. A massive leap up the Ryder Cup standings, and a decent run of form since changing a few things on and off the course.
  17. Solo 3rd would gave bagged him 590k. Instead his share of 6th was worth 260k. Bob picked up 950k or so, his biggest single cheque so far.
