  1. Fitzpatrick double bogeys 17 to end his challenge.
  2. Terrific wedge by Thomas should put him in the lead while Koepka found trouble off the tee.
  3. He'll need more luck after carving that drive way right.
  4. Some stroke of luck for Thomas leading to a birdie an a tie for the lead.
  5. Don't know what Sky are showing, but I'm watching it on CBS and I've seen most of Lewis's shots on the back 9. Chances gone now after his birdie lipped out on 16 and 3 putt on 17. CBS now to go a split screen for commercial breaks and keep the live coverage on show while the ads are on.
  6. My prediction has put the absolute hex on An. If there are any requests for other names who you don't want to win, let me know. Some run Tom Lewis has had the last 2 days.
  7. Good luck, would love to play there one day. I avoided a few potential disasters yesterday by making a conscious decision not to play for flags if I was in an awkward spot, much rather have a putt of any sort for my next shot rather than another chip.
  8. 89 for a nett 68 yesterday and a cut from 21 to 20.2. More consistent for the most part, especially putting, but still a handful of shots flung away. Hit some woeful drives and hit the worst iron shot I've hit in years on the par 3 14th, topping it so badly it bounced on the front of the tee before going into the hazard.
  9. Looks likely that Hulkenberg won't be starting the race.
  10. My mate is doing food deliveries for Asda, and was doing a drop off in Priesthill this morning just as the chapel was coming out. Not a face mask in sight, zero social distancing, and the priest shaking hands with everybody as they left. The kicker of course was that almost everybody including the priest looked to be 65 or over, all in the high risk age group.
  11. Depends where they put the flags, but as Tom Lewis showed yesterday with his 61, there are low scores out there, like there seems to be at all the TPC courses. Even at that I can't see anybody outside the top 4 or 5 on the leaderboard winning, if any of them hits a 65 or 66 it will take it too far away from the rest of the field. I fancy An for the win.
  12. Matt Stafford placed on Covid IR by the Lions. Not hard to understand why he would opt out given his wife's medical history. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-8471705/amp/Detroit-Lions-QB-Matt-Stafford-wife-Kelly-welcome-fourth-child-brain-surgery.html?__twitter_impression=true Edit: later tweets reporting that Stafford hasn't opted out, but returned a positive test having shown no symptoms.
  13. Had my first draught pint of T since god knows when after playing golf today. Nectar. Forgot how cheap it is in the clubhouse too thanks to our 15% discount for members, making it £2.98 per pint.
  14. He also got one of Mickey Rourke's best performances out of him in Angel Heart.
  15. My typo, should have been 1999, the 1995 one was in the replies. Taps aff. [emoji33]
  16. Lazy fecker. Part cat part armchair.
  17. BBC Scotland showing a round up of Scotland's medal winners at Rio 2016. Obviously delighted that Murray won gold, but you couldn't really have grudged Delpo a win considering everything he had gone through to get there.
  18. 73 for Robert MacIntyre, leaves him at 4 over. He was always going to struggle a bit this week not having played competitively since March, but at least he gets all 4 rounds in.
  19. That deChambeau walloper said in an interview that he wants to live until he is 140. I knew i had heard something similar before...
  20. It's Bishop Brennan ya little bollox.
  21. Would have fancied him with a 3 frame lead, not so much just 1 ahead.
  22. Ford making an arse of this frame.
  23. The sporting events that were supposed to have crowds this weekend will now take place behind closed doors due to the rise in cases. The snooker World Championship started today with limited crowds in place, but will now be empty until August 15th at the earliest.
