The break for the clinching frame really was a thing of beauty. The reds were spread out like vomit but at no time did Hendry struggle for position, he put the white exactly where he wanted on every shot.

He certainly ballsed up a few chances to tie it at 15 all. Reds were bunched in a bad position but he misses a few regulation pots.

Davis moved the game on in the 80s, but Hendry took it to to a completely different level to anything seen before. Got the 92 final on just now, just put in a huge break to tie it at 14-14, White doesn't do that much wrong but Hendry was utterly ruthless.

A lot less arsing about in between picks with no stage walk ons etc, God knows how long it would have taken if the original plan to have a floating stage in front of the Bellagio had gone ahead

For anybody looking for their snooker fix it's Hendry v White both today and tomorrow on BBC2 at 2.00 pm. Today is their 1988 second round tie which went the full distance, and tomorrow is the 92 final when Hendry reeled off 10 straight frames to come from 6 behind to win.

Been watching series 1 on BBC Scotland, it's on at 10pm on s Friday night. The first 3 series were consistently good, felt from series 4 onwards it was a bit more hit and miss. Don't know why but they showed the episodes out of order, Faimly was on last Friday, with one of the best after closing titles scenes.

Becton failed a drug test at the combine, although it's suspected it was only for cannabis, some teams will mark him down for that as a black mark against how much trust they can put in him, as the players all know well in advance that they are going to be tested.

Watched Pro Football Talk today and the feel they are getting from their contacts is that he might not even go in the top 10 due to question marks over his fitness, rumours are he needs another ankle op. Burrow is a stick on at 1, was impressed by his interview today and seems the Bengals are also very impressed by him. Still some time for some trading to be done, and one of the topics discussed today was the value of a pick this year compared to next year, as it's still unknown what, if any college season there will be in the autumn.
