  1. Obviously the world championships being postponed leaves the BBC with a huge hole in the schedules to fill. They are going to show some classic matches from down the years, full list is on here. https://wst.tv/classic-matches-on-bbc/
  2. Biggest offenders in our local Tesco are their own staff picking the home delivery orders.
  3. I've been shopping 3 times in the last week and all 3 stores are insisting on only 1 person per household in the shop. Tesco were enforcing it to the letter on Saturday and making people wait outside or in their car while their partner did the shopping.
  4. Unlike the current government of course.. BBC News - Coronavirus: Holby City donates ventilators to London Nightingale hospital https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-52250706
  5. When Nicklaus holed his clinching putt in the playoff the next day he launched his putter in the air and it almost landed on Sanders head.
  6. It appears some folk don't grasp how ICU works, it's not like a normal ward where they check your SATS every few hours, you will have a nurse at your bedside constantly regardless of who you are or what condition put you there. My father in law had a couple of days in ICU in the golden jubilee after a heart op and the nurses were like part of the family by the time he left.
  7. Missy has taken up residence in her favourite chair, which just so happens to be my favourite chair...
  8. Stirling Moss fails to make it out of the pits, aged 90. Condolences etc, and finally some points.
  9. She's as close to having the right PPE as the others tbh.
  10. No wonder they have kept Patel out the public eye, she was hopeless this afternoon, even with a fairly benevolent set of questions fired at her.
  11. One of those that passed away yesterday was my friend's 23 year old son. He was born with a heart defect and his life expectancy was only about 18 months, but various operations and 2 heart transplants got him this far, an utter c**t that he has finally been beaten by this.
  12. Social interactions are certainly vastly reduced from what I've seen. Haven't even seen the local neds hanging around, so they are either keeping apart or hiding in somebody's house, and you would hope the parents wouldn't let that happen. This is a long thread on Twitter, but Trump is a fucking mentalist.
  13. Elvis Costello and the Attractions - Pump It Up
  14. Andy Murray signs up for virtual Madrid Open - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/tennis/52236523
  15. Fkn hell, agreeing with a Rams fan. We are indeed living in interesting times.
  16. Given the latest statement from the SFA that football is in hold until at least June 10th, then this season is effectively finished. The only thing that then needs to be sorted out is how the junior teams are ranked before placing them into conferences. Imo using average points per game to finalise the league placings is the least worst method. I certainly don't think it would be fair to use last season's finishing positions, even though we would benefit as we would be ranked higher than we are now.
  17. The latest statement from the SFA saying that all football is now suspended until at least June 10th effectively ends the junior season IMO.
