  1. Ton for Sibley, fluked an edge through the slips to get on to 99, but hits a glorious reverse sweep off Maharaj for 4 to move onto 103.
  2. 50 from 34 balls from Stokes, exactly what England needed this morning.
  3. Stokes gets lucky, skying one that de Kock goes chasing but misses, looked like the man coming in from the boundary had a better angle to take it. 50 partnership from 64 balls.
  4. Stokes putting the hammer down already, 26 from 20 balls so far in the first 20 minutes play. New ball hasn't been taken yet, suspect it will be now. Maharaj has just caught him out with a couple of balls though.
  5. Nortje missing out for SA this morning due to illness, certainly doesn't help their cause any.
  6. Took them long enough. Seems Jerry has too much respect for Garrett that he didn't want to tell him he was sacked before his contract expired on 14th January. Not enough respect to offer him a new contract though.
  7. A future in politics awaits for Kyle Rudolph. 3 times he was asked if that play was intended to go to him, still hasn't answered it. [emoji23]
  8. What a throw by Cousins. First and goal from the 2.
  9. I didn't know the wee Mad magazine boy was called Jimmy.
  10. That's coming back. Will they riot this year if they think the officials have cost them another win?
  11. Wow. Just as it looked like the Saints were going to score again it's a huge forced fumble and recovery by the Vikings.
  12. With Alta-pete's strike rate on here, he is definitely OFTW imo.
  13. I don't think the pitch has shown many signs of becoming quite the minefield it was being predicted to be yet, but it will be interesting to see how it fares come day 5 if it goes that far. SA's batting is just as fragile as England's so I can see them toiling to make it through 2 sessions tomorrow if England declare about lunch.
  14. My expectations of England in test matches abroad are never that high, but all too often they don't even manage to live up to them. The bowlers dragged them back into this one, and if they do go on to win like they should from here, it's hard to see how they could justify bringing Archer back for the next one. If Stokes and Buttler can hit top gear for an hour or so tomorrow then they should be well out of sight.
  15. Unfortunately they are just as likely to ship 6 wickets for 40 runs, but they might even have enough of a lead already. Only 1 over before the new ball tomorrow, will take a monumental effort by the SA bowling attack to give them a target that's remotely catchable.
  16. And Bess goes caught behind after a review, and that's it for the day. England 264 ahead with 4 wickets down.
  17. Root out for 61, was a decent ball from Pretorious but was a sort of half hearted shot by Root that guided it to Faf at slip. They've stuck Bess in as nightwatchman.
  18. If they do somehow manage to contrive not to win this test from here, they really should just pack up and come home.
  19. Jinxed it. Denly hooks Nortje to Pretorius. 2 down, but England still well on top.
  20. Not a lot happening at the moment, England going along at a snail's pace, and it's been a long time since the Saffers looked like taking a wicket.
  21. Texans very lucky not to concede a TD on the second half kick off, all because the returner was too fucking lazy to take a knee like normal players would do.
