  1. Nice words from Nasser as he gave Jimmy his 150th cap this morning.
  2. SA were 277-9 at the close, England will be disappointed with that from having them at 111-5. De Kock was the one guy who kept SA in the game, ending up with 95. Curran was the pick of the bowlers, took wickets at important times and ended up with 4-57.
  3. As nice as this looks, I can only picture the pool scene in Caddyshack when I see stuff like this in sports stadia.
  4. An absolute shocker of a wasted review by England on a ball by Curran that was going well down leg side. He gets his reward soon after though for another decent spell, Pretorius edging one to Root who takes his 3rd catch of the day. Not much batting left in this SA line up, a lot resting on de Kock now. Stokes has been off the field for quite a while, apparently dehydrated.
  5. Aye, he's not been great. Very inconsistent on both line and length. Good fight back by the Saffers to be fair, De Kock and Pretorius putting some pressure back onto the bowlers.
  6. Second wicket for England as Markham clips Curran to Bairstow at midwicket. 32-2. Having won the toss and decided to bowl England need at least another wicket before lunch. SA obviously worried as Faf du Plessis has moved himself up the order
  7. England's line up. Burns Sibley Denly Root Stokes Bairstow Buttler Curran Archer Anderson Broad Stokes's Dad in a stable condition, Bairstow in for Pope who is ill, while Leach still hasn't fully recovered from illness but would probably have missed out as England would have gone for 5 seamers anyway. Anderson chucks down a loosener first ball, and Elgar feathers it down the leg side through to the keeper. 0/1. There was a slight delay at the start after a photographer tripped over something when he was getting set up and had to be stretchered away, don't know if that affected Elgar's concentration, but it was a shocker of a shot.
  8. Merry Christmas to all the P&B NFL fans, best sub forum on here imo. I'm all set for the playoffs after getting this for Christmas. (After sending the missus the link on the NFL Europe store [emoji23])
  9. Looks like he has just opened the Ark of the Covenant.
  10. Ben Stokes could miss the first test after his Dad was admitted to hospital where he remains critically ill. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/amp/cricket/50900919?__twitter_impression=true
  11. Here's the simplified version of what each result means in the NFC.
  12. NFC seedings are as clear as mud. Only certainties are the East winners will be 4th seed and the Vikings 6th. 49ers will be 1st or 5th, though could be 2nd or 3rd if they were to tie in Seattle, while the Seahawks now look like 3rd is the highest they can finish with the Packers and Saints both having what looks like winnable games.
  13. Quite a few Ravens having a night off though, including Jackson and Ingram.
  14. You can add Brian Hoyer to the list of unlikely QBs with a Superbowl ring.
  15. Bob MacIntyre finishes the year in 64th spot on the OWGR. He is now above Phil Mickelson who is 65th.

  17. Leclerc signs a new deal with Ferrari until 2024. Leclerc and Hamilton for 2021?
