  1. And Root gets a wicket. [emoji23]
  2. And Stokes drops a good chance off of Root's bowling.
  3. And the very next ball from Leach stays low and catches the batsman lbw, but he is saved on review as it got him outside off stump.
  4. 1 set all in the doubles between Spain and Argentina.
  5. Yep, 80 overs. They would be as well getting Root and Leach to rattle through these next 10 and get the new ball, they don't look like doing anything with this one.
  6. Wasted review by England, commentators called it as an inside edge right away.
  7. Impressive effort by the crowd at Mount Maunganui, they've managed to tan the entire stock of beer for the whole test match inside the first 2 days.
  8. For somebody who fairly recently could hardly land his ball in the golf course, never mind the fairway, it's a stunning turnaround in fortunes.
  9. Todd has gone 66-66 in this weekend's PGA Tour event, but -10 only has him tied for 7th. His last 11 rounds his average score is 65.64, and he is -60 to par.
  10. Think Smith is being realistic enough to realise that he can't flog Andy by playing him every day, and that he is confident that the doubles can win their games, so only needs one win from singles. Evans wins the third set tiebreak to put GB into the semis with a 2-0 win over Germany. Edit: it's either Spain or Argentina in the semi final, they are tied at 1-1 after the singles with the deciding doubles match due to start soon.
  11. Kyle Edmund beats Kohlschreiber in straight sets to put GB 1-0 ahead. Dan Evans up next against Jan Lennard Struff.
  12. Interesting read about Tagive's background. https://www.rugbypass.com/news/ratu-tagive-glasgow-warriors
  13. That ball strike sounded phenomenally good. Amazes me that at times he seems to be able to hit his 3 wood closer that he can his wedges. Heard a stat the other week that from 100 yards or less he is consistently 6 feet further from the hole than his rivals. Disappointing finish for Bob, especially with a double bogey at a par 3.
  14. Kiwis are 144-4 at the close. Key wicket of Williamson fell late in the day, right after passing 50 a delivery from Curran found some extra bounce and reared up on Williamson who edged it to gully. Definitely England on top now.
  15. Yesterday was the 12th time since 2013 that McIlroy has hit a 65 or better in the opening round of a tourney. Remarkably he hasn't went on to win any of them.
  16. Pretty uninspiring stuff from both teams, but the Texans won't mind as they came out 20-17 winners. Hopkins came up with 2 big TD catches.
  17. Very hard to tell, I thought he might just have edged it first but I doubt it would have been overturned even if it had been reviewed, impossible to be 100% certain one way or other.
  18. 353 all out. Poor total considering they were 277-4 and the pitch is doing nothing.
  19. Will be interesting to see how the Texans respond, I thought it would be a fairly close game at the weekend but the Ravens handed them their arses. It was the sort of defeat that could derail your season.
  20. MacIntyre and Kitayama out together today in their battle for Rookie of the Year. Both hit -1, and are paired together again tomorrow. Must confess to knowing next to feck all about the leader, Frenchman Mike Lorenzo-Vera, who hit -9 and leads by 1 from McIlroy, with Rahm on -6 and Fleetwood on -5.
  21. Job done in straight sets by the doubles pair, into the last 8 and face Germany from 4.30 tomorrow afternoon.
  22. Tom Smith: Former British and Irish Lions prop reveals stage four cancer diagnosis - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/50395820 Listened to the full interview. Absolutely gut wrenching. [emoji26]
