Burrell picked up an ankle injury mid August, did his rehab, around 12 weeks, with Middlesboro. By the time he returned Wright was gone. By the time he was fully fit Lafferty was back at the club alongside Shaw and as it panned out McInnes had to go with experience to get us over the line, any game time was always going to be very limited under the circumstance. Burrell did grab a hat trick in a closed doors bounce match against Premiership opposition when McInnes wanted a see our squad in action shortly after he arrived, hence why Cameron was recalled before being sent back out.

Iirc, someone on AccieTV pulled a cable out their camera and left us watching a black screen for most of the game.

The only footage of Burrell's involvement while at Killie is 9:00 mins in, he was only on a matter of minutes...

We never saw enough of Burrell to form an opinion but Steven McGinn will have seen enough of him to give McGlynn the inside track.

Disappointed we didn't win that but will settle for the point. Our delivery into the box needs to be better but on todays performance we'll do ok this season once the injuries clear up and McInnes gets the couple of additional players he wants.

Looking forward to flag day on Saturday, should be a healthy crowd. Donnelly, Lafferty, Murray and Alston all back is a bonus and very happy with Power being named club captain for the season. I'd take a draw right now as we are still a bit away from the finished article but just glad to be back playing top flight football... Bring it on.

Well Alebiosu looks like he can play a bit, could be an absolute find. Not a random one either, DM said on the radio interview we tried to get him in the Jan window.

It's a big step up for him from U23's but he has potential.
