  1. Did a tour there a few months ago, they actually do one that is finished in a formerly heavily peated whisky cask. Wasn't massively smokey or anything but a bit different. In the end I went for the distillery exclusive at the time which was a bourbon finish however my pal went there last month and its now a sherry finish cask which I'm a bit gutted I missed.
  2. 1. Wrong https://www2.gov.scot/Topics/Statistics/Browse/Social-Welfare/IncomePoverty Its strange you mention manipulating statistics about this....... Child poverty definition to be changed http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-33346989 2. Also wrong. See just about every Scandinavian country regarding this.
  3. Sadly I will be safe as f**k as up in Orkney working. If I was to be thrown down any stairs though Hampden would be ideal given its terrible gradient. Not that anything will happen though as the last time a Hearts fan tried to attack a Celtic fan they managed to bottle their own, more of this please.
  4. By shafting the lower end where one in for four children live in poverty. Attempts are being made by the Scottish government to change this by raising taxes to combat this and cutting it at the lower end. But without being able to force large corporations to actually pay some come fucking corporate tax it can be somewhat futile. Tbh I would have had Independence as a romantic notion if we didn't Haemorrhage money out the public purse to private enterprises that should be under public control, and we weren't shafting the most vulnerable of society. Im not scottish so I don't feel massively patriotic, I am a human being though which is why I would back independence in a heart beat as I see it the best way of helping those at the lower end.
  5. Moyes seems to be more of an unpopular choice than Lennon. Whilst a minority do want Lennon there is a smaller number again who would rather have Moyes just so its not Lenny. I am slowly coming round to the idea that he would be a decent enough choice. If you look at the last two managers who managed at Premier league level (Rodgers and Clarke) they both horsed it up here and I would fancy Moyes to do much the same. If he doesn't hit the ground running though I can see fans turning on him soon enough.
  6. That's mental if I were you I would buy as much as you can even as an investment.
  7. You got a bottle of Scapa 14 for $25?! I'm sure they are worth about 6 times that least. Its quite sought after because there isn't much stock with it being shut for 10 years around the millenium. Not a fan of there NAS stuff you get in the airports etc but yet to have a bad aged statement one since I have been working up in Orkney.
  8. Well you are right, because the injury he got in December wasn't the hernia. The Hernia issue never materialized till February so they decided to see if he can play on till the end of the season. A provisional booking would also surely have been made for after the cup final.
  9. Im a bit bemused by those bemoaning the lack of quality. I Have found it a decent enough spectacle so far and must have somehow missed all the tiki-taka bottom 6 games on Sportscene this season. Good atmosphere too.
  10. Im all for integrating those with a limited mental capacity and offering employment where possible but offering Kris Boyd a managers job is a step too far.
  11. They are being advertised as Hearts end, they would have lasted 5 minutes otherwise. Don't know if they are all debentures but some are.
  12. I know boys getting tickets in Hearts end too. Not directly through Hearts But through restaurant/hotels who are offering it as an ‘event’ in debentures seats.
  13. For those who are partial to a sherry bomb there is Glenlivet first fill oloroso (55%) on Amazon right now for 46 quid. I got one before and really liked it but I’m sure it was cask strength (60+%), it needed a fair bit of water though so hopeing it should still be good.
  14. I actually had to google coming down the road, what a sad bigoted man.
  15. As much as I think he could have had the op weeks ago calling him a fanny for wanting to play in a final is pretty ridiculous.
  16. In a strange turn of events the SFA have ordered special goals to be put in at CP so Morelos can finally score against us....
  17. I can only assume a big (not in size like those two cloggers) signing is imminent as surely they wont reveal those two cloggers on their own? As much as I think they can cope against bottom six opposition, in terms of a PR move at the end of a somewhat underwhelming season* it wont help season ticket sales or overall feelgood factor. *Compared to past few seasons
  18. As much as I think getting a DOF is a bit of waste of wages at smaller clubs (no offence) I think it is has been proven the guys in charge do not know how to run the football side of things so getting somebody like Strachan in makes sense for a couple of years at least anyway.
  19. Was wondering why McInnes turned down the international job.
  20. Since September 2014 its pretty much international law that Scotland has no right to laugh or look down on another nation.
  21. Judging by the odds passed few weeks is a Lennon/Rafa/Mourinho/AVB/Moyes/Ranieri/Someothercunts management dream team
  22. That's fair enough, although I thought Milne would have seen the pound signs for the new stadium and kicked him out the door. We had the same issue last year too with Boyata. And now Simunovic has been linked with a move today, I don't particularly rate him but there is no danger he is leaving with the Champions league qualifiers.
