Makes you wonder why they don't just make the shake-up the post-Mania show as well. Plan it properly and you can still have rematches or stuff like that, but also have the changes you need. You really don't need this floating episode, particularly when it's as bland as that one.

You can as far as I know. Think it's deep in the menus but you can go back and try and get gold on certain missions. I did it for the big shootout when you went to the Braithwaite place. The epilogue took me about 7 hours I think, all in. There's not too much side stuff, but quite a few story missions. Quite a slow pace too, but it wraps everything up nicely.

Well, that escalated quickly... Still could be a work I suppose, but doubt they'd do that dark segment if it was. I know they don't usually like giving shine to people who are choosing to leave, but seems a bit odd that his goodbye over the past few weeks was getting the shit kicked out of him all over the place. By all accounts it seems like their plan was to have Rollins/Ambrose heading into WM, but Leukemia put its horrible wee spanner in the works and they jump-started the heel turn before it was ready. Whether that's true or not, who knows, but a bit of a shame to see a guy with so much potential just leave. Unless it's a work.

See, this is why I hate any comparison that has its base as the FIFA rankings. When things are bad we look at them and say "we lost to a team ranked around INSERT AFRICAN NATION HERE and fucking INSERT POSSIBLY MADE UP STATE HERE". Given that other confederations don't play us, or anyone on our continent, it becomes a completely pointless comparison. Teams like Kazakhstan would climb the rankings pretty quickly if they were playing such luminaries as Sierra Leone and Thailand, just like we would. Instead, they're in a confederation where they're likely to get beat most times. The only view that might be useful would be looking purely at European nations, but even then it's little more than a woolly point you can mould around nothing. "LADS WE'RE 4TH IN THE WORLD ITSCOMINGHOMEITSCOMINGHOMEBANTZBANTZBANTZ" or whatever point our media clung onto to tell us just how sad we should be that Israel beat us. If FIFA follow UEFA's lead and start using the Nations League as a means of seeding, FIFA World Rankings will literally have no point.

I remember building one of them and getting unspeakably angry after a couple of games, so abandoned it. Might be worth trying it now though. I found the team to be incredibly imbalanced, with all the decent options shoehorned to one side. I've always been annoyed that Tierney and Forrest are on opposite sides so you can't link them. Weah's a great option now though. Forrest though...he's just so good. It's purely down to his dribbling stats, but he's absolutely electric at times. Can't wait to try out the upgraded one and watch him breeze past people in the second half.

The adult entertainment career is just a convenient excuse they can use for me. For me she was never going to go in in any guise when she was alive, because I don't think they trusted that she would play ball. After all the things she's said, would you give her a live mic? And with HHH now running large parts of the company, I can't imagine he's too happy to have her standing there with a mic after all the horrific stuff she's accused him of. Now she's deid, I think they probably would have put her in on her own, but putting her in as DX serves a few purposes for them. They can "pay tribute" in their own way, without it being all about her, and then quietly forget about her. Shame, she absolutely deserves to be in, but her very public struggles put paid to that.

At this stage I'm not sure that'd solve anything. Not sure anyone would really use an 84 any more than they'd use a 78. At this stage those kinds of IFs are purely for fans of the player. The only thing really holding up their value is that they're the new currency for big SBCs, otherwise I'd imagine the shite ones would all be going for discard.

I'm still using Szczesny's IF (although it's 89, so hardly a small improvement) and I regularly use Forrest off the bench. But they're certainly not what they used to be. While you're correct, and it's absolutely the right way to go to make sure there's enough space to handle upgrades, I can imagine the absolute head's gone most of the mouth-breathers that play this game would have when they saw that the player they're basing their life around is now ranked a few points lower.

I'm on the fence. It does bring a little variety now in that at least you're getting people use different special cards (for the most part), whereas earlier in the game you were coming up against Premier League sides every single game, because they fit into whatever warped view of football EA was presenting. Premier League teams are still rife, but you're at least getting a bit of variety now. But I completely get where you're coming from.

The amount of special cards is a good thing if you were there from the start, as it's giving a wealth of content to try and distract you from when the game's a bit shit. But for new players I can imagine it's a massive problem. Only way to really compete quickly would be to trade your way to a decent coin pile, but that's easier said than done

Well it depends what they want to do. They want to create heat for Charlotte, have Rousey leave, and have a story going into the next few months, I could see them going mental and having Becky lose. Probably not eat the pin, but still lose. Particularly if they're worried about what comes next. Presumably one of them feuds with Asuka if Rousey leaves, but what does the other do? Do they shit themselves and try and keep the story going? I wouldn't do any of that by the way, I'm more along the lines of trying to think like WWE. Which is like having a fever dream. There'll be at least one huge surprise somewhere, and you'd think it had to happen between this, Brock/Rollins or Bryan/Kofi.

It was more than a bit tongue in cheek, mate. Lighten up a bit. On 18, the Credit Card FC stuff holds more weight, but as already said, 19 makes it so easy to make coins that the gap between those that get lucky or build up their coins and those that buy success is a lot smaller. Not to mention that it's a complete misnomer that you can buy your way to guaranteed success anyway. There will be plenty of people who have spent thousands and end up with teams much worse than someone who didn't spend a penny. It's all down to the luck of the draw. Buy 1000 lottery tickets and you'll probably still lose, even if you have a better chance than someone who bought one.

Over the entire life of the game, maybe £50ish. I've said plenty of times that the packs I got from FIFA points were fucking woeful, and every bit of luck I've had has been from SBCs (apart from Pogba once early in the life from a bought pack). Haven't spent a penny in the past few months because it just isn't worth it. Because... This. Coins are ridiculously easy to make compared to 18. On that, I probably spent about the same on FIFA points, yet by the close of the game I was only getting icons because the market dropped like a stone. I remember being really excited that I scrimped and saved to get Zanetti, and he was worth f**k all compared to most of the icons available. Content-wise this game has given you opportunity after opportunity to make money, and with fairly little effort. I packed Prime Maldini from a bog-standard one-off SBC, which got me close to 2million. Maradona from the pre-order packs a few months ago, that was another million. And for a couple of months now I've been using BPM, which has probably pretty much paid for 2 of the icons and a number of special cards in their entirety. I'd be more inclined to agree with the plucky underdog story if you hadn't spent a fair bit of money on building those untradeables. Probably at least 1-1.5 million worth in there, particularly with Perisic and Butra. Some get luckier than others, it's always been the way with FIFA.

I can definitely see Charlotte getting the win, particularly if they give Kofi the feel-good story. The heat they would get closing out the show with Charlotte as the super-heel, holding up both titles, would probably carry them through the usually shit months after WM. I don't think Becky necessarily needs the win with the character she's built. If she does, where does she go from there? Just the cocky face until she gets beat? It'd work, obviously, but it wouldn't be anywhere near as good as her chasing. You could say the same with Kofi, but still. I think one of those matches is going against the face, to be honest.

Yeah, if you're coins only, give it the hardest swerve. Think someone did a look at who you could pack against how much it would cost, and there's a tiny percentage that would be worth it purely by market value. I was just looking for someone a bit different I could slot into the team, but Laudrup's a bit shit.

I'm finding it alright at the moment, but probably because I'm doing alright. When you're not winning, the cracks show a lot more. But my disgusting pack luck is probably helping. Decided to do the Mid Icon SBC before it ran out in the hope of getting a fresh icon that could fit into my team. Unfortunately, I got Laudrup as a LW. Only marginally better than the Gervinho I grinded to get last week I've got at LW, and not as good as Nedved who I've got at LM. Lucky I packed NIF Ronaldo in one of the two player packs... It's the one player I've always wanted to pack since he moved to Juventus to fit into the Serie A team I've got, and perhaps a blessing that he's untradeable as I'm not tempted to sell. I've always been wary of people talking him up, expecting I wouldn't be able to use him properly, but I completely get why people describe him as a cheat code. He's ridiculous. Current team below. I did want to do the upgraded Shearer SBC, but I'm not sure I'll ever need a striker again now. Would love Cannavaro, but De Rossi is doing quite well for me there.

I don't get why they structured RAW like that last night. Surely your closing view of your main, flagship show should be of the main event, not of fucking Baron Corbin winning. f**k, even the title tug of war pish between Reigns and Lesnar was put together better. Women's segment should have ended, then they can have Kofi/Bryan close out tomorrow. Although at this rate, it's probably going to be the Usos beating some local jobbers or something.

You may as well be speculating about the "farce" of our medical team performing Pagan rituals for all it matters. I trust a medical professional to actually do his job regardless of who ultimately pays his wages, and I'd imagine Celtic themselves would be happy enough to put pressure on rather than getting their own medical mole in there.

The Gervinho objective was fucking brutal for that. Several wanting to be home team with some idea that I would hand them the win. Same with "first goal wins". I hate this attitude around the objectives, trying to do them with the bare minimum of effort. In future, EA are just going to put ridiculously difficult criteria to get these cards in the knowledge that people will try and skip out anyway.
