  1. It would be very Dundee United to have a game moved for an anniversary which then gets called off for the weather
  2. I couldn't get tickets for Musselburgh v Clyde in the end, but given I have a free Saturday I am off to Dunbar United v East Fife. My first visit to New Countess Park
  3. James Allen is an excellent journalist, but was not a good commentator.
  4. That's put a right dampener on our 5-0 win, let me tell you. Well done on being able to type so accurately through the tears, though. Fair play
  5. Yeah, my first game as Bayern I beat Mainz 8-4. Ha
  6. We've only beaten Dundee 6-2 twice
  7. I still find it odd that there isn't a place for Logan Chalmers at Dundee United, but hey, we won 5-0 today so it's hard to be too critical. Pleased to see he's doing well at Ayr though.
  8. Goals scored today in the Scottish Championship: 6 Goals scored today in the Scottish Championship by Dundee United players: 6
  9. You'd have to have a heart of stone not to find this all very, very funny.
  10. The candle task was good, but I vaguely remembered seeing something similar on QI (?) a while ago. Some of Julian's put downs are lovely, and it was nice to see Sue sacrifice herself so he could win the episode. His "Whoever you are" remark to Alex was very funny.
  11. We won't. We don't particularly care about this competition.
  12. Tickets on sale next week. Really looking forward to it. Would be surprised if Clyde didn't win, despite their recent struggles.
  13. Brian Graham will dive a lot, and score at least twice. ETA: Tony Watt will dive a lot, and will not score.
  14. To go back to an earlier point I made, I do like the group, but a lot of the tasks have been seriously weak.
  15. By and large, the pundits now bumping their gums about VAR are exactly the same ones who were clamouring for it to be introduced in the first place. They're all arseholes and best ignored. VAR was introduced as a fait accompli by the clubs without paying the slightest regard to what the fans thought, and there is no way they're suddenly going to have a change of heart because an arguable decision went against Scotland on Thursday night. With very few exceptions, the clubs don't give a shit what we think.
  16. The thing is, Aston Martin should be in a solid 3rd in the Constructors Championship, but due to having a rabbit in the second car they will probably end up fifth. That will cost them millions. Son or not, he shouldn't be anywhere near an F1 car. He simply is nowhere near good enough. Perez is driving like a man who knows he is out on his ear. Sadly, he looks completely broken. I can't think who RB would get in to replace him, but surely Perez cannot stay on, for his own wellbeing if nothing else.
  17. James McPake carries a very "yer da after the divorce" sort of vibe
  18. I am enjoying the contestants in this series (although Lucy's voice grates, a lot), but I must admit I have found most of the tasks pretty weak.
  19. Yeah, they always seem to manage to string about 15 consecutive wins together from January onwards, no reason why this season will be any different.
