  1. Looks like they've bought Mike Ashley's shares so, as yet, there's no extra money coming Rangers' way. But it does mean that they can go ahead with the proposed share issue without Ashley blocking them. However, I suspect that might just be a way for King & co to get their soft loans back - a debt-free Rangers but as broke as ever.
  2. I'd love to post in their threads but the megastore was sold out when I got there. I'll just have to post in my y-fronts instead.
  3. You in fawn breeks and a button-down blue shirt?
  4. Solitaire is her real name, mate. But we should be able to track her down - she wears danishes on her lugs and has a Ziggy Stardust flash on her face.
  5. It's too early to tell. Your company's chairman has a habit of spinning things. However, if it's all above board, then of course it's good for the company. Might be able to reduce some of those soft loans and get back on an even keel.
  6. Maybe you shouldn't be so insular then. Most of us read various teams' threads. I've even been known to poke my nose into the Premiership forum.
  7. Will Mark Daly have to make an updated version of The Men Who Sold The Jerseys?
  8. An annoying Essex woman got on the Perth train at Queen Street and asked me in that really entitled way 'whether this train goes to Gleneagles'. I told her it did. When the train went steaming through Gleneagles and made its merry way onto 'Perth next stop' she leaned over the back of the chair and shouted at me, 'I thought you said this train went to Gleneagles'. 'To Gleneagles? I thought you said through Gleneagles. Sorry, I'm a bit deaf.' I might have been the c**t on the train that day.
  9. Not yet. Perhaps you could advise me how to deal with things if it happens. How did you cope?
  10. Where did you see that transfers were funded by loans? If true, surely that makes a further mockery of FFP rules.
  11. Is that you projecting again? And why would a United fan feel fear about Rangers possibly doing well?
  12. The Rangers FC Group Limited (ex-Wavetower) appointed liquidation debt buyers Henderson & Jones as a director on the 12th and will be dissolved via compulsory strike-off on 27 June. Does this mean someone has sold their claim against a certain liquidated company to H&W?
  13. 'Look at me. I'the staunchest of the staunch. Nothing to see here, move along and please don't pan my windows in.' Either that or he's the deepest undercover Celtic fan ever.
  14. I assume you're referring to me. Sorry, I had to go and get a life there but I'm back now. 'Infesting'? There's a word full of connotations.
  15. I don't have faith in a new manager unless he's proven himself elsewhere. With United's recent history, I've learned not to set any unrealistic expectations. It's the hope that kills you.
  16. But did you have faith in Ally and Mark? Before they delivered, or didn't deliver, I mean.
  17. Why do you 'have total faith in Pedro'? Don't you want to wait a bit and see how he shapes up before you invest your faith? Did you have total faith in Super Ally? In Warburton? If not, why's Pedro any different. BTW Rangers have airbrushed Warburton from the club's history. https://rangers.co.uk/club/history/former-managers/ Has he done something wrong?
  18. I disagree about Murray. He's got a very low conversion rate. A more clinical finisher could add 8 or 10 goals a season to Murray's haul from the same number of chances. I'm not saying Keatings is that clinical finisher but he's unlikely to be any worse than Murray. Transfermarkt would seem to agree, showing Murray at 213K and Keatings at 234K. Despite Murray having twice as many goals last season, they both have the same goals-per-minute-played stats. Does Keatings keep getting subbed? I don't know much about Scobbie but, again, Tansfermarkt shows him as being worth 298K to Dixon's 276K. BTW Scobbie's a central defender while Dixon's a left-back. I'll give you Andreu against King but again we're not comparing like with like - Tony's a central midfielder and King's a right-winger. Mmmmm, donuts... winger.
