Tailgating someone doing 60 mph really isn't sensible behaviour. If they are stupid enough to be sailing along in the overtaking lane with the inside lane free, then they might brake sharply with or without good reason, leaving you little time to react. Better to keep a sensible distance and use other methods to encourage them to allow you to overtake...

Witnessed a belter in Dundee City Centre today. Middle aged guy in full road rage state, fist down on the horn, undertaking a young lassie then trying to block her progress by stopping his car diagonally across her car and leaping out to confront her. Unfortunately for him he left just enough space for the lassie to squeeze through and get away, leaving the raging c**t apoplectic and on the receiving end of jeers of derision from witnesses nearby...
