  1. OK, was just curious as last season's ticket had the start and end dates for full season not ending half way through.
  2. Decided to buy my season ticket a couple of days ago. I like to print off a pdf copy in case of mobile phone malfunction at the turnstile ( or more likely my bad eyesight and stubby fingers causing cock-up), I notice it says event commences May '23 finishes Dec' 23 which seems a bit odd for a league season that runs from August 23 to May 24. What's that all about. Last season's ticket had the correct start and end dates.
  3. Apart from Saturday not being the best date I don't see how it was so daft, would rather have played Marlow than the likes of Gretna. It isn't as if it was going to cost us a great deal of money with it being at Palmerston. The greatest inconvenience would be on Marlow.
  4. Thanks for that, didn't hear/read MB's Gretna interview, will keep my eyes and ears open for more news. I've not bothered with any of the friendlies/bounce games yet but will probably take this one in (if open to spectators) as its something a bit different. Maybe be a bit more settled line-up than games have been so far.
  5. That's me, it comes with age. My 1st pastime is watching QoS, being miserable and droll comes close second (actually they may be linked). Miserable and droll goes top in the close season.
  6. Not specifically aimed at Falkirk more a general comment but I'm not a fan of special conditions for so called young teams, ultras, brigades or whatever such as having a dedicated area. Fair enough encouraging younger supporters to attend but they should be integrated as part of the whole crowd rather than grouped in what basically becomes gang culture. It kind of gives the impression that these groups can get away with stretching the boundaries of behaviour that wouldn't be tolerated in other parts of the ground or in other age groups. I appreciate that they add to the atmosphere but spreading them about would maybe achieve the same thing. It gives me, and possibly them, the impression that they are worth more consideration than, shall we say more mature fans who have attended for years. Safe to say I'm advanced in years and crabbit so it's probably a generational thing. If we have to have such things then NO DRUMS. The QoS "mature team" and their rattles can be more than enough for me to bear anyway.
  7. Ah, thanks for that, makes sense now. Edit to add: Thought I'd posted this reply yesterday tbh, technology and old age don't always work in sync.
  8. Ftfy. Criticism by some might be a bit harsh but he does look like a player who's easily scunnered during games. When his head drops he just doesn't look interested. Can have the very odd flash of genius but could do better if he showed a bit of belief in himself. Might prove more effective from the subs bench.
  9. If Conor Murray gets a gig at Hamilton he'll have done very well and confounded a lot of people, me included. Wish him all the best but will be amazed if he's a regular starter.
  10. QoS didn't offer any streams last season even when allowed, suspect this season will be the same.
  11. Botterill seems to be having a good game according to updates and Livi posters on their thread. McKechnie missing a couple of good chances too.
  12. No upcoming ppv events according to the LiviTv site so doesn't look like it unfortunately.
  13. MKM sponsor a lot of clubs in one way or another, pitch side advertising, back of shirts, etc, but you would have thought they could have at least had some indication in the photo that it was in an MKM depot. Nice gear though.
  14. Money for Nothing is more likely to be Michael Ruth's type of programme. I suppose what See is doing isn't much different than our (on loan) goalie fucking off to the World Cup in Qatar.
  15. Piece in today's Standard, looks like Gav wants to stay and fight for his place. No confirmation or comment from Bartley though.
  16. The Monday group in the Arena sounds a bit too serious for me, although daytime suits me better than evenings. Oh well, I'll stick to the walking without the football.
  17. I wish the person responsible would amend the "next fixture" info on the OS., still got EK on there. I also note we now have a Walking Football team playing fixtures in tournaments, is this a new thing or has this team been going for a while? I did mean to ask if walking football had restarted for casual participants when the Arena reopened after Covid but it's never advertised as far as I can see.
  18. He was on a coaching licence course I believe, it wasn't as if he just decided not to go because it didn't matter. He did say that these type of games are about fitness levels, players gelling, getting to know each other, etc., but I'm sure he'll be interested to know how certain players performed.
