Released on Amazon Prime yesterday (I refuse to say "dropped").
One episode in and I'm enjoying it. I never played the game so couldn't care less how similar it is or isn't; some folk went bonkers with The Last of Us over this.
Walton Goggins is tremendous.
I used to get this a fair bit. In the civil service I got back to back promotions, managing a team if folk all at least 10 years older than me. That felt harder than it was (I am still friends with most of them)
It goes away with experience.
About 3 years ago I realised that nobody says no to me at work. Folk do what I ask. I started making changes that I would never have dared to do beforehand. Huge changes. Stopped being timid or asking permission. Just been doing shit, and challenging others to do the same. I couldn't have done this 5 years ago.
Give it time and experience.
I have noticed that the folk arguing that lunch is dinner, dinner is tea, lunch no longer exists, and tea is also tea, are chipper-bothering Dundonians.
Huge relief. I was worried that this was a real thing for a minute.
