    I normally wait until after finishing a story to post, but I am part-way through The Dalek's Master Plan. So far, so...brutal. Katarina...blown out of an airlock. Bret (an early Nicholas Courtney) - shot dead after being a main character for quite a few episodes. And others, too. And last night I watched "The Feast of Steven".

    Compared to McGlynn...not sure if they're improvements or not. Jobby I think could do a good job. I was surprised he was punted by PT and he walked over us in this league. Yogi, I have a blind spot for. As a manager I think we had him at his peak, and he's been going downhill since. Failed at every club he's been at for the past 7-8 years but, at the same time, if he came back I'd be weirdly excited and pumped up.

    This sort of thing is wild. Here, you can get a face to face appointment in a day or two, unless you ask for a specific doctor who might be less available.

    Been given a stack of books by my mum. Over the years my dad and I passed loads of books back and forth. He had dozens in his room when he died. Some of these are ones I gave him. Tried reading Much Obliged, Jeeves, which is one of them. Just cannot get through it. I've read this book a few times but just cannot do it at all. So now about to look for new authors/books. No idea where to start.

    Yes, speak to them. Until there's a firm job offer on the table you don't need to make any decisions, so no harm in finding out more at this stage.

    I was going to post last night after a few cans but decided not to. I would have ended up in the Heads Gone thread. The gist was that 36 games, solid second place, means f**k all when we set fire to ourselves in a matter of minutes. There is no way back, no point deluding ourselves that there is a miracle coming on Saturday. Other fans will come and laugh at us, and rightly so. Losing that game in that way is laughing stock stuff. Another season in League One at least. I have no faith in us getting up next season.
