It's all very well saying im not arsed about finishing 2nd or 3rd we are playing absolutely shite at the moment n will get pumped at the first hurdle. I'm not entirely convinced we will recapture any form before next weekend. I've gone for a draw in this one.

It's utterly ludicrous at the business end of the season and in typical Falkirk stylee when we actually do have something to play for that it seems the wheels have fallen off again. If McGlynn does get emptied we can always console ourselves in the fact he chose to give Nesbitt a new two year contract so he can masquerade as a footballer when it suits him. Well done.

Having just watched his post match interview I think it's very much that. Looks a worried guy.

I'd say it's a crucial point in his job as Falkirk manager. The players have completely started to coast since the cup game absolutely no doubt about it and he hasn't helped. You just can't see any way we win a cup semi or playoffs on current form and I don't think McGlynn knows how to change it. If the players are capable of turning it on and off like a tap at their behest and we have all saw this movie before (when Dixon said we threw the league in September in the herald) then he's as good as done.

We can't but McGlynn's well past his honeymoon period now. And to be quite honest is doing a great job of bringing the heat on himself. There's no doubt he's a competent manager compared to the other incumbents of recent seasons but by f**k he's doing his utmost at making it another clusterfuck of a season.

We did have but he got recalled by Sevco and we haven't replaced him instead paying a transfer fee for a guy from Clyde and a loan from Ross County. Put both together and they still wouldn't be as capable of playing one up as Alegria was. I reckon he's panic bought Allan and loaned Wright cos he scored a couple of goals at Montrose.

This is utter gash. Edinburgh have James Craigen at centre half, depleted by injuries at the back n we are huffing and puffing trying to break them down. Our squad depth is really paying dividends.

Donaldson for me is a decent defender but he's had his rush of blood to the head moments aswell. When he's on his game he's a very good defender at this level and he's had a few different partners at centre half like McKay, Mackie, Henderson throughout the season.

There was a rumour we were after him and Barjonas. As others have said he was linked with a few clubs. Don't see him being at Kelty next season.

Airdrie 2-2 Dunfermline Alloa 1-2 Falkirk Edinburgh 1-1 Kelty Peterhead 1-2 Clyde QoS 2-0 Montrose

If we are still in league 1 next season the team coming down or possibly two teams won't be as strong as Dunfermline that's pretty much guaranteed.

Line up and formation is anyone's guess. Does McGlynn deem Edinburgh not enough of a threat to play two up front or will he go security conscious and play Oliver up front on his own again. We have a decent record against Edinburgh hopefully that continues on Tuesday.

Yes and Rowe to be subbed on after 20 mins due to Williamson breaking a toenail. I actually feel sorry for Montrose. But then we were well warned by Thistle and still signed him.

As much as getting to the cup semi is a bonus we have hardly kicked a ball in the league since, it's been way more of a distraction than I think anyone could have imagined. This season has the potential to be fantastic regarding promotion and getting to a cup final ( which we won't win) but it looks very much like we are just going through the motions at the minute and that's a worry.

If the plan was to lure our opponents into thinking we are already on our holidays then we are doing a cracking job of it.

McPake mentioned Burrell and Morrison a few times in pre/post match interviews, Morrison is under contract till 2024 and as others have mentioned looks like there's a year option on Burrell.

I think there are a few with year options on their deals, which makes sense. I still wouldn't have gave Nesbitt another two year contract though.

Going for a two each draw. Both teams capable of scoring goals but equally likely to concede. A win would practically guarantee second for us but we don't do things the easy way. A win for Airdrie and it's still all to play for regarding second place. A lot will depend on how McGlynn sets us up. I wouldn't be surprised if it's one up top again.

You have also signed a sick note in Williamson. The boy just cannot avoid injury, good luck to him at Montrose.
