Rangers winning 54 titles in 4 years should've been included IMO.
Agreed mate, THE most successful domestic football club in the World, an accolade that deserves some credit eh!?[emoji6] Just surprised it's not mentioned more often!0 -
Perhaps still some arguments about the shortlist, but thought it was a cracking programme last night, some amazing achievements!!

Btw, there is now a Catholic majority in northern Ireland among people aged 39 and under. The union is genuinely in its death throes, fuckin fantastic eh. What a time to be alive.
What makes you think that the majority of people who identify themselves as 'of the Catholic faith' in NI, align themselves with the Republic?

We're British Scots, there's a good few of us!

Saints Vs Motherwell, less than 3,000 there, C'mon, that's proper shite!?

I know Napoleon described us as a nation of shopkeepers but there are surely more important things to consider than chip shops?
Aye, but you can't beat a good Chippy though Williea!
Seen a page that claims 25% of our Fish consumption is purchased on a Friday, what's all that aboot!? [emoji6]0 -
Bloody foreigners with their tasty foodstuffs!
Enjoy it all mate, just perhaps one of the reasons for the demise of the fish supper? that's all.0 -
I had a look and it seems prices have risen consumption has fallen when measured by weight but risen in terms of cost since the start of the century.

Interesting stuff, much more competition on the High St for the good old British Chippy too I guess these days!?0 -
£20 quid 4 fold, Hearts, Leeds, Sheffield W & Doncaster would have paid £160.00!
Fuckin Hertz!!!! [emoji53]0 -
See my post immediately above yours and have a wee think about it!
As a nation, are we not eating more fish/seafood than we've ever done? A health conscious alternative to red meat, the choice you have in your local supermarket is much wider than a generation ago!?0 -
House of Lords spokesman saying grave danger UK fishing will lose access to European markets.
Karma?
Will that then be reciprocated with EU countries and allow us to replenish 'our' stocks for our own Market?0 -
Who do they pray to?
Does it finish with amen one day and for god and ulster the next?
Dunno, but such an open 'display' of religious pious always makes me suspicious. Almost trying to prove ones honesty and conviction.0 -
Your neighbors are SNP members.
Aye, some of them are, but none of them represent the SNP in the way that some of their supporters on here do!![emoji47]0 -
Fun and games in the failed statelet on monday
Deeply distrust Johnathan Bell, why did he sit on it (failure of the RHI) for so long? Worrying times for Foster & the DUP though!0 -
Trying so hard wes, you're like a desperate wee unionist puppy champing at the heels of reality and coherent thought.
Don't shoot the messenger Pep, it's a shite turnout which EVER way you look at it. Perhaps Colkitto's just right, a cold rainy December Thursday.0 -
Sorry, you are blaming foreigners and I missed it?
Neither!! I simply used our burgeoning welfare budget (35%) as a contributor ( in its many forms) to our deficit from tax revues received to government expenditure. Do we have the same controls in place as our competitive neighbours, Germany for example?0 -
I'm disappointed you didn't blame foreigners there too, feel a bit cheated it was just the poor.
A predictable assumption..
Not at all, how many other countries 'subsidise' Big Business with the level of low income support provided by the UK Government for example.
It appeared here btw, taken from OECD figures according to the article

Why?
How do suggest we tackle that? Perhaps address the reasons that the UK spend on welfare payments (as a % of GDP) has far outstripped our European competitors, over the past 20 years, despite well documented measures of austerity?0 -
Unionist v Nationalist politics
72.4 % of the electorate uninterested ?0 -
Seasonal figures, those damn foreigners can't pick berries in the winter, lazy bassa's [emoji57]
Wouldn't that be the same across the rest of the UK or do we only grow and pick summer fruits in Blairgowrie?0 -
4.6% Scotland 4.9% UK as of 8 weeks ago. As if it's about unemployment anyway, it's just your nationalism we're discussing not unemployment or the snp.

The 5.3-4.8% figure was released yesterday Pep, not 2 months ago.
It's a perfectly legitimate question to ask over the stark difference in figures over the last quarter, (whether on here or on any of the multiple news outlets)? We are a sensitive little bunch this morning eh!?0 -
He claims to hold all the political parties to account.
Finding a post where he does it though is difficult.
Would the last quarter include seasonal jobs?
The SNP are running the show at present are they not? Who else should be accountable when you get right down to the bottom line?0 -
Unemployment is lower in Scotland that the rest, of the UK btw for anyone reading. Red hand rob the bigot doesn't really care about unemployment he cares about London governing all of Britain.
Currently 5.3% in Scotland 4.8% rUK (ONS)0
