  1. This Celtic team are tremendous compared to Rangers and of course the rest of the domestic competition. I’m genuinely interested in how that translates to Champions League games where I think their playstyle will either see them pumped rotten or surprise a couple. Key will be whether Ange and the celts have a plan B and can play more defensively - Im not sure if they do.
  2. Not strictly related but seems a good place to ask.. Is Zander Clark still cutting about on a free? Writes his own contract at the DABs atm
  3. Think this is rash tbh. Smells like there is something rotten in the fruits dressing room - all they have achieved here is spending a f**k tonne of money without addressing the real Issue. Maybe if they let Mulgrew/Watt pick the next manager it’ll be fine.
  4. Monday off work - gonna start my day with the past few pages of this thread and a coffee. Thank you
  5. Less Glasgow shit chat - more absolutely pissing ourselves at the absolute state of Dundee United. thank you
  6. Was posting as you posted - my post is not a direct response to yours
  7. French is never a centre half but send to get forward well - Marshall is finished and has had a horrendous start to the season - kerr has previously deputised well at LB French-McGhee-Ashie-Kerr Maybe with that in front of him Sharp relaxes more - maybe not - in any case legzdins should start if fit. Gowser is mustard at this level and we are a better team with him in it - Mulligan also needs to play as a more advanced midfielder as he will cause havoc - stick any other of our paucity of CM options in beside Gowser and ask them to do the donkey work - rudden up top to run about like a nutter - he tires Robinson comes on - or start Robinson - whatever. Our wingers are self explanatory. 4-5-1 - at home we press away we soak and break - f**k 442 and f**k subbing gowser or putting center half’s up top.
  8. That’s our formation - how are we feeding the wingers and getting them into dangerous areas? Seems to me smashing the ball head height at 2 small wingers (or completely out the park if you’re our keeper) has been the most adopted tactic thus far but we even seem to lose that at times and resort to not really doing much at all other than string 3 or 4 backward passes until we are under sufficient pressure to justify pumping it anywhere (or getting robbed like Sweeney did tonight) Its eye-bleeding stuff and the fact he’s lobbed big Ashie on up top leads me to think he’s making a point we lack a focal point up top - so maybe if we get one we’ll abandon launching it at the wings and just start launching it centrally - which will be just as bad. We can only piss with the cock we’ve got but whatever he’s trying at the moment doesn’t suit this current squad of players imo.
  9. Can anyone explain to me what our play style is or what Bowyer wants the team to do? Cos I can’t - but more worrying is I am not convinced he nor our players know either..
  10. Fucking amateur hour from our national broadcaster
  11. At least utd won the first leg - pray for rangers in the away leg if that tie is anything to go by
  12. Are you suggesting that Ngwenya plays at left back with his dick out, or that when informing the player of his position Ian Murray should have his dick out. Both options intrigue me and I hope whichever it is it brings you success.
  13. Liverpool, Chelsea, man city etc routinely drop points after big European nights - always difficult. Hopefully it’s not that though and that was the real Utd as the bits I caught were absolutely abject.
  14. Is this an insightful response based on the fact that Raith ran out of pies today (mark of a tin pot club imo) or a poor attempt at joke that some Dundee fans are rotund. If the latter please accept this rejoinder - FWIW the few Raith fans that turned up were not only rotund, but also circus ugly. Thank you
  15. Routine win. Cracking away crowd and atmosphere. Shite pies and organisation (why sell tickets for seats then just tell everyone upon arrival it’s a free for all?) Gowser a class act. Rudden put a huge shift in. Next
  16. Just paid full price for 5 tickets - going to be fucking raging if it’s all electronic and could’ve got in with a concession.
  17. Not to state the obvious, but Utds financial doping has them on a firmer footing - can’t deny it. We were shite, no quarrel from any Dundee fan, but all Utd have done is built a strong championship side on a large premiership budget. Unfortunately we have dragged ourselves down to Dundee Utds level and they have beaten us with experience. Absolute veterans at this level now and with a budget to make most premiership teams (and your average financial adviser) blush. That game would get football stopped. Throughout the 90 mins there was one period of football which resulted in Shankland hitting the post - even thenit featured players falling over and just being extremely scrappy.
  18. To the surprise of absolutetly no-one - the Dundee FC accounts were received on time by Companies House - as indicated by the date stamp on the front of the report. Least you got a wee midweek thrill.
  19. Dundee Loss of £354,071 - Death Knell etc (Despite our board repeatedly stating they are happy to absorb this and had known it would happen, plus the fact we've just sold £1.5 million worth of player little over a month ago) Meanwhile, at Utd Utd Loss of approx £1 million and an extremely likely 3rd season in the Fundesliga. Surely GD will be all over this - an operating loss almost 3 times the catastrophic figures at Dens....
  20. Indeed - I notice they were actually received at companies house on the 25/11/2017 (so likely submitted 23rd or 24th) according to the dated barcode on the front page but the companies House website never entered them online until the 28/11/2017 - I'm stunned that the records aren't live updated due to the immense criticality and that there could potentially be an admin delay of 3-5 working day's for them to be processed and uploaded.... I'm sure that's not whats happened here though, likely the Dundee FC board are simply incompetent.
  21. I've no idea tbh. What % of all companies registered on companies house file there records on time? Are St Johnstone, who have had the same notice and submitted their last accounts even later, competently managed?
  22. The bit where it matters to anyone if accounts were potentially submitted/processed 7 days late when they were clearly complete on time and have been dissected by all and sundry for days on end. The main thrust of my initial response to Granny Danger was that his information was wrong. I didn't say the accounts were late, on time or otherwise but I thank you for pointing that out. I don't get A) why the DAB bothered with his initial post or B) why you have appeared on the Dundee thread to comment on it. Were the accounts late, according to companies house records, yes. Does it matter a f**k. No.
