Ireland had a ( better ) defence !?
We had Gough, McLeish, Miller, Hansen, Malpas and Nicol available and kept 6 clean sheets in 8 games. I don't think our defence was a problem tbh

I hardly recognise any of those Dutch players. A far cry from what they were in the 90s.
Maupay is a bottom end EPL player.
What?

McInally played about 50 minutes in the qualifying games. McCoist played about 90% of them and regularly up front with MoJo.
It was completely mental that McCoist didn’t start. Going into that tournament, at least 3 other strikers had started games before McInally.
Correct. It was good enough to start McCoist and Johnston against France but somehow Costa Rica demanded a physical presence in McInally despite him being a big huddle.
Roxburgh had a lot to offer coaching and development wise but his Scotland teams were largely over cautios

Two excellent performances from Dundee, fully deserved to win even more comfortably than they did.

Fantastic achievement, Davidson has done an incredible job. As comfy a 1 nil as you'll ever see. Well done Saints

Harry Stone has the keeper position locked lads, relax

What is the script with Aaron Hickey? Don’t follow Italian football too closely but has he been out injured or missed a lot of football? Last I was aware he had been very impressive in his early games with Bologna so would’ve expected him to kick on and have been in Scotland squads. Certainly based on past performances his potential was huge and seemed like he’d be a nailed-on to make the Scotland squad ahead of a few guys that are in.
Injured for the last couple of months and out for the season

Don't agree with all the choices, when does anyone ever, but quite a bold squad. Taylor being involved is still daft and Nisbet looked absolutely miles off it on his debut but decent all round.
A pity for Gauld that be hasn't managed 5 goals against Hamilton and Dundee United

Cannot see any chance of Dundee beating Killie over 2 games.

Thank you for loaning us Zlamal.
Made a big save to help us into Europe, on a day when the alternative was an 18yo with no senior games.
Best of luck with getting in at a better level next week

Surely there have been more impressive performances than those? A 4-0 win against a team post-COVID who were exhausted by lack of training and having beaten you three days earlier. Then another 4-0 win against a completely makeshift defence and 10 men. Dizzy heights.
You've not paid much attention to our form this season I see

The red card was a poor decision even if he had caught Henderson as he clearly went for the ball. I did think it was a pen on first viewing tbf to the ref.
Probably our two best performances of the season have been at Raith unfortunately for them.

I'll probably watch, though Tuesday was so bad I might go out instead. The players can do what they like with the trophy, couldn't care less.

Reassuringly garbage

With absolutely nothing on it for us i expect we'll win quite comfortably.

I'd probably take Regan Hendry, other than that no thanks to anyone.

The free jazz defending of Mihai Popescu, God willing

Don't think it hasn't been fun for everyone, but let's never speak again.

Morten hold on to their beloved Hot Potato for another week as a late equaliser at Dens wasn't enough to pass it on.
Next up, Hearts a week on Tuesday.
The double is on

You don't think Neilson might want to make the league win look convincing?
Arguably the seeds of his destruction at Hearts with a lot of the support date back to the dead rubber at Easter Road in his first season with us. Went there as champions and picked a bizarre line-up with two left backs and lost comfortably.
His failure to treat the derby as a must win wasn't well received, even with a 20 point lead.

Most of the quality of the Hearts away matches I watched was awful, but that's the BBC these days.
'Jokes' aside, I paid for Morton, Arbroath, Brora, East Fife, Raith and bar Arbroath the quality was decent, particularly Raith and Morton.
Would be good to see it continue, but only at a price that doesn't make it the default option for away fans

Last night's win means we are at least guaranteed the first round of playoff fixtures off

Delighted for Souttar to be making a return, was gutting to lose him for so long as he's easily our best CB and seems a decent lad.
By easily our best, I assume you meant 'only competent'
