  1. Soon they'll just decide to stop Scots from voting. Plenty of Scots would cheer them on to be fair.
  2. I don't think Blair has done well enough at Edinburgh to be honest. I don't think it will be him.
  3. I think Tonnie is almost certainly away after the WC, in fact the cynic in me thinks he's only getting the WC because the SRU think we are stuffed either way. I honestly think if we'd been on the same side of the draw as Wales, England and Australia we'd be changing manager right now as well, those three teams will never have a better chance of winning it with the way the draw has gone, even if they are shite.
  4. Wouldn't be surprised. In fact, have we not lost a couple of coaches recently? Could see him joining up before the WC. Only thing I'm thinking is was one of the reasons for Rennie leaving Glasgow not because his wife wanted to be closer to kids/grandkids in NZ?
  5. Correct. The best chance they have is to stay in it and go for it in the last five.
  6. Same tbh, I think he got this right, Stewart has let him down badly.
  7. Total meltdowns on our thread when we were linked with him, with plenty of St Johnstone fans telling us how shite he was. I always thought he looked great when he played for you.
  8. I'll never understand why so many St Mirren and St Johnstone fans don't rate Kennedy, he's a great player at this level imo.
  9. Clown Job was only doing the "all of you hate Catholics" bit so you'd all stop talking about the penalty and the refereeing in general. It worked tbf.
  10. Think I'd pick Maitland for Twickenham if he's up for it.
  11. Didn't buy the game as last time I got a stream from that website it was a fucking camcorder in the stand job with some mental commentary that kept going loud and then quiet and wasn't in sync with the game, but seems like quite an eventful first ten mins!
  12. I mean, fucking hell, that is a penalty every day of the week. It's not even debatable.
  13. It's funny how everyone is in on it a bit as well. Viaplay and the BBC obviously want an OF final, and fair enough, I can understand why, but the penalty was the deciding moment in this match, it was a huge moment and even though everyone knows it should have been a penalty, it's being brushed over and basically ignored. It should be the main talking point.
  14. Pretty unlucky for Killie here. Did all they could do, created chances and ultimately they've been shafted by the cowardice of Collum and the VAR.
  15. This has been a pathetic 20 mins from Lafferty. Shooting from there was so poor, the goal was his fault, but on top of that he's not working hard enough either. Killie's press is struggling because he's just standing.
  16. To be fair, I think he's had some pretty bad issues with concussion recently, something that isn't taken seriously enough in football imo.
  17. Yeah, I think Flynn will be OK as well, especially if we are expected to be under the cosh anyway. I don't think he's got Strain's engine these days, and is a bit less of an attacking threat, but he'll stick to the task and hopefully make life a bit more difficult for them down that side. I imagine Gal will play on the right of the three as well if he's fit, with Shaughnessy staying in the middle.
  18. That is great news, because for me it strengthens both defence and midfield if it means Gogic now doesn't have to play CB. I guess that is still going to be decided by how much Robbo trusts Taylor at this stage.
  19. I remember me and my mate went to it and our train broke down at Linlithgow station. Loads of buddies piling into the three taxis or so that were in the town. It was very exciting at the time as we'd just come up and we're looking pretty good, having already won a few games, and I think Hearts might have even split the OF the year before, but basically we were just coming to the end of that "newly promoted bounce" teams used to get then and we were soon back down to earth as autumn and winter rolled in and it became clear we were fighting for survival.
  20. To be honest, I think Robbo made a big mistake not bringing Brophy on yesterday.
  21. No they didn't, what happened is you got very emotional because Kilmarnock didn't win and everyone laughed at you.
  22. Ha, same here, Glasgow are far more dangerous from 25 meters than they are from 3.
  23. That was a fucking great match, really enjoyable stuff and, whisper it, but Glasgow might be back. There was some glorious rugby there. Whole backline were brilliant, and the forwards did their jobs against tough opposition.
