Went up the woods today and picked some blackberries, washed them, stewed some apples and made a crumble. Bloody lovely.

When the wife and I were away the other week, we had to wear masks in the b&b when going in and out, and when entering the breakfast room. When I paid the bill, the woman had the card machine inside a food bag, and stood about 10 feet away while I paid, then binned the food bag straight after. Felt a bit weird.

Been Away for the weekend. 5 of us went out for a meal on Saturday. One of the group Insisted that she would pay for her food and drink separately from everyone else rather than pay via splitting the bill by 5. I she ended up paying nearly £35, but If she'd done the same as everyone else, she'd only have paid about £23.
