  1. 16 year old (only turned 16 last month) leading the line (and scoring) for Dortmund last night. Incredible. Hit the post with another too come to think of it.
  2. The tier system, in my opinion, isn't working
  3. I agree, but only to an extent. There is really zero prospect of any Central Belt LA reaching Tier 1 and for that reason the tier system wouldn't appear to be working. The only thing that does work is a full lockdown, and if we were to go down that route, to prevent people travelling to Highlands and Islands it would need to be across the board. A full March style lockdown is pretty unpalatable but at this point, and with furlough available it would, to my mind, do a whole lot more than the ineffective tier system.
  4. Not sure why, but today feels like lowest point so far in all this. I'm really struggling to see an end to this. (yes I know there's a vaccine)
  5. Correct. Think the first minister got a bit too excited with her 'concern' tweet earlier.
  6. Indeed she has hurriedly tweeted her 'concern'. Thankfully every medical expert I've heard over the last hour has said that this is neither unexpected, nor should it be a problem.
  7. I dunno - I'm just fed up with our 'Cautious Appraoch'
  8. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-55293938 'A Slow Process' FFS.
  9. Glaxo Smith Kline vaccine not looking too clever.
  10. I'm not. But he was a decent player. And not long after he left we were a bit shit
  11. His departure last season pretty much coincided with our drop in form. Disappointed for him his American adventure wouldn't appear to have worked out
  12. https://news.sky.com/story/andhra-pradesh-mystery-illness-kills-one-and-leaves-200-in-hospital-in-india-12154221 Not sure whether to start another thread for this
  13. Any word on how many will be vaccinated on Tuesday?
  14. Coming round to the opinion that there's one change that would make things less shite
  15. I can't be arsed doing any research but I'd be willing to bet no team in the league has made as few substitutions as us. Brechin apart, have we ever used all five in a game?
  16. Really struggling to stop myself calling for the manager to be sacked (I doubt we could afford it in any case). What a horrendous brand of football we have. A shot at goal is a rarity. A player taking on an opponent and getting down the wing never happens. We play with zero bravery. All this with a frontline the majority of the league would be envious of. I said a few weeks ago that it's all very well playing like this and picking up the odd points here and there, but it wouldn't last forever. Think we're at that stage now and suspect well tumble down the table in the coming weeks.
  17. Any particular reason why United haven't said what players are missing? Probably a bit of a ball ache for Livingston having done a week's worth of homework on United only to find themselves a few hours before kickoff and have no idea how we'll line up. Possibly answered my own question
  18. Beginning to look a likely outcome now. Probably preffereable scoreline compared to getting scudded in the next two games
  19. I think it hit 5 or 6 hours last weekend. I was tempted to post something about schools just get a bit of activty going again
  20. I have no evidence to back this up, but I'd bet every team in the league has breached these protocols in some shape or form at some point.
  21. Score prediction 3-0 to Livingston. Decided at an SPFL meeting in a few weeks after the game is postponed due to United's Covid outbreak
  22. Did the SPFL say that! That's mental. Jason Leitch said on the radio at the weekend that as the virus has up to a ten day incubation period, it's impossible to know where its came from.
  23. The point I'm making is that both teams have had breaches before. They may well again. And they may well lead to postponed fixtures. Which would mean the SPFL needing to treat their beloved twins in the same way. Or not, as is far more likely.
  24. Aside from obviously having a Covid outbreak at their clubs, as is seemingly inevtiable to some degree just now, can someone inform me just what St. Mirren and Kilmarnock done. Presumably there were some misdemeanours as opposed to just being unfortunate.
