Nope, still comes across as utter nonsense. The opinion you’ve expressed here has nothing to do with the post you quoted.

Nope, can't agree... Celtic being utterly annihilated by Feyenoord on 1970 is fact not utter nonsense. Celtic being comfortably beaten by Porto in 2003 is also fact. The utter nonsense is the post that prompted my reply.  A predictable and slightly tedious howl of hate from a Celtic fan who must know that their team will in all likelihood never again reach a European final.

We’re not ashamed or embarrassed, every one of us would’ve done the same. That defeat was huge, a sliding doors moment that had it gone the other way -

would’ve seen them get automatic qualification into CL group stages, in pot 1 and a Min £10m from the super cup, both these along with the Europa cup run wouldve seen their entire debt wiped clean and prob a better bank balance than us, plus all the merchandise sales. A win would have got them close to £70m

Prob ditched those meaningless 5 stars and changed it to 2 big stars on their shirts, which would eclipse Aberdeen’s 2 stars.

An open too bus through the city with a city chambers event and all the players passing around the trophy to a packed George sq.

Years of boring claims about the Seville result being better than Lisbon.

Aaron Ramsay walking away as a good signing.

    Kris Boyd's smug b*****d face.

Guys like Arfield, Golson, Kent etc being called European champions at every opportunity by Scottish media.

**** repeating the league didn’t matter over and over.

Congrats from Johnston, Lorraine Kelly, Belinda Carlisle etc etc as well as every shitty club down south from Carlisle to Portsmouth.

Billboards all over Glasgow and beyond,

Tav on the Graham Norton show.

    No1 single in the charts.

Appearance in the sports personality of the year show.

A summer of speculation of which stars would be jetting in to sign on to boost their champions league push.

All speculation of course but thank f**k for Frankfurt, now my favourite German team by a country mile.

Yes we couldn't dare have any of the above because everything always has to be about Celtic.  Is Feyenoord your favourite Dutch team by a country mile ? Porto your favourite Portuguese ? Glass houses and stone throwers come to mind here.

What’s wrong with hating the head of state exactly?

She’s not exactly a protected minority, although she does like to protect some questionable characters.

Nah, you’re either telling lies or wilfully ignorant.

Next you’ll be blaming the schools

Yes don't you dare blame the schools bad man...... don't you understand that tolerance, understanding and respect for others can only come about through segregation today, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever ? Have you learned nothing from history ?

I’m conflicted, as I was with Celtic in 2003, I actually feel a bit sorry for Rangers. They were desperately unlucky and there was nothing in it. It really could’ve went either way. Kent’s chance at the end was agonising and whist Ramsey’s penalty was a disgrace, all of Frankfurt’s were virtually unsaveable.

Rangers being desperately unlucky last night is very debatable. They won the toss for pens at their end and also to take the first one...that was lucky even though it didn't work.  Celtic, before revisionism totally takes hold, were well beaten by Porto in 2003. They weren't unlucky in the slightest

Spent public money she never earned. Spent some of it on protecting a peadophile.

Abused her parliamentary privilege (that she never earned) on numerous occasions.

    Is a massive Tory.

And one year I had to watch her shite Christmas message.

No that's  the Queen and she's an affront to all decent thinking people but it's this 'c**t queen' I'm concerned about ?  If there's a c**t queen on the loose turning otherwise rational people into bubbling buckets of sweary invective over a football match then we should all be afraid, very afraid.

Pish. The c**t, scum, bigot club died in 2012. They died due to massive financial cheating that finally caught up with them.

They were not demoted. They died and a new Rangers had to be formed. Sadly it too is a c**t, scum bigot club and it too tried to cheat by demanding it be placed in the top league. When that failed they demanded to be placed in the second tier.

This new club were admitted to the bottom tier. They were signing players on £8k a week to play against part time teams. The 'journey' was not some sort of amazing fairytale or against all odds triumph. It was a cold, emotionless blunder towards the top league, achieved by chucking millions of pounds at shite. There were plenty of comical moments along the way.

They won their first Premiership title by chucking even larger sums of cash at players and managers. Signing a player for circa £12M and paying Gerrard a hefty wage is hardly some great 'turnaround' story. It's yet another cold, emotionless, empty piece of nonsense that has been bought with eye watering sums of cash.

Hopefully last night was hugely damaging to the financial plans of this new Rangers and that this version goes bust and dies, like the old, dead Rangers.

And hopefully the c**t queen goes along with them.

What's the c**t queen ever done to you ?

All joking aside, I think GVB has got to carry a huge portion of the blame. It's like he settled for penalties after Frankfurt equalised. His subs were pretty baffling. You just need to look at the immediate impact roofe had when he came on to see that he'd have been a better option earlier in the game instead of Sands or Kamara

Probably the most inept managerial display involving a Scottish club side in a European final since the Stein disaster class that was Milan 1970.

You can be abused in this country for having the wrong surname still…. And not just after a street party that was cleaned up within 12 hours

Nice of you to try and put the blame onto others though.

Yes indeed, ask Asian Scots about abuse for their surname but racist vermin are racist vermin and they are indiscriminate in their attacks.  That, I'm sure, we can agree on.

Why does it matter how people celebrate their cultural heritage?

Why is Scottish society so hostile towards people who celebrate Irish Heritage…. Why most importantly who do they need to justify the reasons behind it?

Asian Scots for example certainly don’t come under this type of scrutiny when celebrating heritage

But Irish? It causes meltdowns for a large number of people.

What went on in George Square last year & Glasgow Cross this year was not people celebrating Irish heritage but people celebrating the football team they support becoming champions of Scotland.  Which they are totally entitled to do in a free society. Certain folk get annoyed about the disturbance, vandalism, tribal aggression that goes along with these gatherings which can make going about your normal business in a public space uncomfortable and inconvenient. Again people are free to feel that way.  I would suggest that if Scots Asians left the same kind of anti social litter strewn decay in their wake after Eid for example, I'm sure they would come under intense scrutiny. But they don't cause such disturbance so don't attract such scrutiny.  The constant tarring of those who don't wish their city to act as some kind of proxy stand-in for the tragedy of the north of Ireland in the 1970's as being agents of anti-Irish racism just because Rangers or Celtic win the league, is becoming tedious.
