massive win! thought the whole team was brilliant. back 5 solid, midfield 3 worked there socks and were brilliant with the ball, Dykes and Adams caused loads problems for Austria. Don't know why SOD gets so much stick like defensively sound and bombed on when he could, yes his final ball wasn't the greatest but he's been out of action for a month with covid (I believe) so thought the shift he put in was incredible given the circumstances. Patterson wouldn't of been near as good defensively last night. Billy Gilmour is just absolutely phenomenal. The forward pairing of Dykes and Adams looks very promising and hopefully continues to grow. Hanley has been fantastic since coming back into the team and will be a massive miss next month against Israel. Buzzing for the game next month now.. Come on the scots!!

SOD will play in Austria, Patterson played against Moldova purely cause it was Moldova and to give him some experience/game time. That would of been Clarke's plan all along. Yes Patterson is the better potential option but for steadiness SOD will be picked as Clarke trusts him. I'd like 352 to get in the bin but doubt it will so.. Wasn't at the game but seen the highlights, TOB, Gold and LD could all of been takers. Personally wouldn't of had Hilson near a penalty as his set pieces and finishing are appalling. Fair play to Little stepping up decent hit just a smidge to high. Hendo, Linn and Low youd expect taking them just unfortunate Linn hit the post. As you’d expect lochee to win Brechin had 12 man squad with good few starters missing for whatever reason, pretty sure they had some of the young boys from the amateur side help out also. Other results for Brechin have been good so they’ll be very happy so far.
