Aaron Chapman is 100% the worst of those mentioned so far. He had the aura of someone that had just been quantum leaped into and Al hadn't turned up yet. Every time he stopped the ball or picked it up (which wasnt very many times), he had a look of absolute surprise on his face. He was the goalie equivalent of those players that seem to get shorter when they go up for a header. He's about 6'7" and could only dive about 3 feet.

I think over the course of this purple patch, KVV has been instructed to play on the shoulder of the last defender more and not come deep to get involved, so I could see how that could have him drifting in and out of the game. However, it meant the ball over the top was always on. I liked spittal before it was fashionable I also like Goss. We've found a way to put them both in a position to succeed, and that should be the minimum we expect from a management team. Is the rising cost of electricity not a big part of this? The club did say that matches are more expensive to put on now, so that would make sense, along with us being generous in previous seasons. I don't think the cost of sacking the managers have anything to do with the ticket price increases.

We should have one of those thermometer things like on blue peter, where for every level of season ticket sales we get to we re-sign a player. Like 500 for Cornelius, 4k for KVV, and if we get to 6k we punt Morris.

We're absolutely selling KVV. There's no guarantee he can continue this form (I'd keep him based on early season form as well to be fair) or stay fit, so from both sides perspective this is the time to cash in. He has a chance of multiplying his wages and we have the chance to cover next seasons budget shortfall and have money left to sack the manager at some point. For him, waiting until the end of next season to walk for nothing might be a big risk with him turning 33 at that point. So if we don't sell him in the summer he should just re-sign with us forever.
