  1. Erm, a back three of tumilty mckay and mackie. With connolly and zanatta as wing backs, it is horrendous but is probably the best we could do. I don't think we have enough to do a back 4. Whatever frankenstein creation we field we need to have 2 forwards Matej is coming into a wee run of form.
  2. This could he a banana skin for Arbroath who basically have to keep winning. When our backs are against the wall and we have some ramshackle selection of a team we grind results out. Or alternatively we'll get absolutely ridden.
  3. I think we have to appeal Benes red as we desperately need bodies. If we lose the appeal hopefully by that time we will have Berra and Musonda back by in the squad.
  4. Appeal the lot. the ref was so shite I think we could argue it.
  5. This season has been exhausting, we'll probably finish fifth and might win the Diddy Cup. Before the season kicked off I think we would all have accepted that with the loss of key players in the summer. However what came after has been tumultuous to say the least.
  6. Just watched it back and I haven't changed my mind about anything really. Benedictus looked a bad ta kle and is a yellow all day long. Broadfoot has jumped up and grabbed a guy by the throat and should go. The Samuel one is a less dramatic version of the Benedictis one and was a yellow but the ref has already drawn his line in the sand so he should have went as well if the ref is being consistent. The Williamson is a pointless yellow on the final whistle but by then it was obvious the referee had not run or controlled the match in the least. As for the 2 late goals the equaliser is a deflection off dicks leg due to 10 men not covering well. The winner looks poor and being crotchless Thomson should have done more. It was a decent game ref and injuries aside. Guess it really just sums up our season.
  7. I thought the red was for the stooshie afterwards. In which case Broadfoot has to go.
  8. Just watched McGlynns post match interview there. I think he was spot on with what he said and did well not to just come out and call the ref an absolute w**k. Also encouragingly MacDonald’s in the background walking across the pitch, looked a little tender but was unaided. Also walking across was the mystery goalie from the warm up. I never saw the deflection for the equaliser so will wait for the highlights. There was definetly a foul in the build up to the winner though. It was just one if those games where the world fell in on us despite controlling a large part of the match and never looking in trouble. That save at 2-1 should have been a sign it would all crumble.
  9. I would say Poplatnik was our best player looked really hungry throughout and I fancied him for another goal. I'll forgive him his assist with their first equaliser.
  10. Today might be one of those strange things where the team are galvanised by this and start to grind out results. In reality we have lost 2 first team players for unspecified amounts of time, Bene and Williamson for 1 match. Partick have a game in hand and I think its too much of an ask now.
  11. Caley never in that game after our second, but the red changed it. We could have seen it out if we'd stopped battering it forward all the time. Ref has had a shocker absolutely ridiculous decisions throughout. Fair fucks to McGlynn getting him tell. Bigger concern is the injuries, berra looked bad enough bit macdonalds was horrible
  12. Do you still have to buy tickets before hand or can you just rock up and pay at the gate?
  13. Perhaps Susan Simpson has been at work already with this. We all knew Keatings would never return but there would still be some kind of settlement agreed for his contract.
  14. We have got to stop McGlynn signing strikers. It would be more cost effective to employ someone on 40k a year just to identify and sign strikers.
  15. Today's offering on the very public breakdown.
  16. Our injuries are consistent year in year out we lose loads of players.
  17. Yes we are staying down. But I like "the hope that kills you" it's a strange form of self garm however I've even subjected to it for 30 years.
  18. I'd probably take a draw next week, just so long as we don't lose because that would as good as end any play off hopes.
  19. Just from the aftermath interview this afternoon in which it was mentioned Spencer has a foot injury/knock. This is a bit worrying because we really need him back. Also bit concerned some illness is tearing through the camp and they dropped like flies. Still a win is most definetly appreciated and hopefully we can get a decent result at home next week to try and get a bit of momentum. Because losing all the time is really shite.
  20. Was it, fair enough all I remember is the squad were utterly fucked.
